Is it too late for me to make the April OT?

April 2018

Serpentine! Thanks for mentioning Space Battle Lunchtime exists because I loved it.
Worth reading just for the colouring but the art, layouts, character/food designs and pacing are great too. Sure, the plot is fairly straightforward but it wasn't a problem at all and the other aspects keep it fresh.

Only problem - v1 ends on a cliffhanger and v2 isn't out till july.
Yeah I didn't love the first issue but i liked the world and aesthetic it had. I'll probably keep an eye out for the collection
Name a DC or Marvel character that you know without a doubt smokes weed.

GO.
Ms America and both Hawkeyes
Where will I go now for my weekly fix of Chris Sims?
War Rocket Ajax has a patreon!

I love it when they occasionally screw up at Marvel Unlimited and accidentally load things that are newer than the 6 month buffer. We're currently in mid September... except for the Feb 1st issue of Champions that just went up for no reason.

Deadpool...

Edit: Jane Thor.
Deadpool would get paranoid. He doesn't need it. Jane Thor most definitely does it on the side.
The Psychadelic Super Soldier from Remeders Cap Run
He smokes bubbles. Unless they're laced.
Harley is high on life and Ivy.
Ms America and both Hawkeyes
I bet Hawkeye does.
America looks like she is straight edge and both Hawkeyes are probably addicted to Adderall.
I didn't think Marvel characters were even allowed to smoke anymore thanks to Joe Q.

Even the villains can't be seen with those bad cigarettes.
Murder is fine though.
Somebody in Punisher must smoke.

GO.

Gwen and the MJ's, I'd imagine.
Tony is a teetotaller now, but I'm sure he used to.
Logan is all about nature and loves getting drunk, so I bet he's down. (Except for being dead).
Alpha Flight people - they're Canadian. Tell me you can't see Puck and Sasquatch getting blazed with Logan and playing cards.
Thor (Odinson) - Sure, on occasion. He loves sampling the Midgard customs. It's no big deal to him.

Probably no:
Peter - since he can't even handle booze, I don't see him smoking up. Unless it was one time with Johnny or something.
Carol - Yes she's a recovering alcoholic who used to hit it hard, but... military. UCMJ ain't worth messing with.
Sam, Miles and Kamala - Hell no. They're the DARE program kids. And Kamala can't risk Abu and Enni finding out.
Space people - They don't care about some weak ass weed growing in the mud on Earth, everyone knows if you really want to get flutarked, the you go to the Centaurians.

The hmmm... maybe category:
Kurt, Piotr and Ororo - Even though he's very pious, Kurt loves good beer and he's very worldly and European. He's probably been to the Netherlands a lot. I could see he and Storm chilling with some fine bud on occasion, especially if Logan is around, and especially back in the day. Pete is probably the least likely of them though, especially if it's a part of history with Kitty or Illyana hanging around. He sure as hell doesn't want to be stoned around either of them (although Illyana would happily partake).

Lashley

Why does he wear the mask!?
Mass Effect: Discovery looks decent

So according to the Marvel retailer summit Marvel hasn't even talked about any big linewide events post Secret Empire in the past 18+ months and those type of stories "will be away for quite a while".

Well there it is. But people will complain now over Crossover.

When asked if Astonishing would be one and done stories, Soule tweeted that it would be an overarching story with each issue catered to that specific artist.

I don't see the problem with crossovers, but I'm sure you're right.

Didn't Bendis claim he came up with CWII in a week while waiting for the SW delays to end and got it approved by editors right away?

Marvel holding off on events would be the smartest thing they've done in years

These constant line-wide events are so disruptive once you get past the short-term sales they generate

It's possible he came up with the pitch quickly, but I don't remember reading anything like that.

Seems Alonso also had to work with it quickly:
The idea of the sequel was conceived at one of Marvel's semi-annual editorial retreats. Axel Alonso, editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, stated that unlike other major comic book storylines which take years of planning, he only had three to four months to plan "Civil War II". This abbreviated timetable was necessary in order to capitalize on the release of the feature film Captain America: Civil War, which was released in May 2016.

Also, we all know there'll be a Thanos event next year to tie-in with the movies, especially after Unworthy Thor featuring
Hela getting frisky with Thanos like rumored for the movies.

Maybe they dont do this now because they have recognized that nobody likes that? And they can always have a small Thanos arc and call it a day.

I doubt we'll see a big Thanos event just because we got Civil War one. They will probably do something Thanos related though.
