Final Fantasy XV Judgment Disc Demo Has PS4 Pro Enhancements @ 1080p

All fears I had about the image quality have been washed away. It looks incredibly clean (minus some hair issues up close, especially during cutscenes) and I don't think it's that bad graphically either. I'm very impressed and can't wait until I see the rest of the game.

IQ looks good, but game could definitely use some passes over distant textures and objects. The background in the first picture reminds me of The Phantom Pain on PS3.

My understanding is that they're still enabling improved settings and that we should see a larger improvement when they're done. Double the GPU, we should see a bit more improvement than that. Then again there may be load, draw distance, frame rate improvements that we're not seeing.

Geez I wonder what it must be like for you watching 24fps movies? Shit man must be terrible watching it in slow motion frame by frame.
Not all games need to be 60fps. And if your one of those that somehow can't cope with 30fps because it's an unplayable slideshow then you should stick to high-end PC.

If every game did come out on PC it would be great, but for now I have to settle for what is available.

Thankfully they are targeting 60 FPS on the pro so my eyes will be spared. Will buy a pro tomorrow to get it ready.

Here are some new comparisons that I have made from the latest set of PS4 Pro vs. OG PS4.

These GIFs put emphasis on the visuals that are improved on Pro.

First the shadow quality is better, clearly noticeable here.

Secondly, the AA is also greatly improved and the difference is big, I'd say. Characters no longer look hideous in some scenes.

Lastly, the AO, as pointed out earlier, results in better shadows for the indoor scenes. Visible here.

I can't wait for the PS4 Pro enhancements that will be added with day 1 patch. This is still a pretty good result here.
