Just browsing through the PS3 section which I usually ignore and I apparently own ZOE2 and Suikoden 3 which I totally forgot about. I still need to beat Suikoden 2 ... the shear quantity of missable content kind of puts me off and I can't find a guide that isn't just a string of bullet points saying who to talk to when.

It's disappointing that Dariusburst isn't cross buy. For such an expensive title I'd have thought it had that bonus. How is the game?

God damn, I haven't spent anything yet but I bet I will soon...

Interesting when I added some of the Neptunia games to the basket they were cheaper than advertised. For example Rebirth 2 was around 4 euro while price showed near 6.

Its awesome. I bought it last sale. I grew up on thunderforce/rtype/darius etc and this game scratches that itch perfectly. Killer shmup, tonnes of stages/ships to unlock and very challemging to master but fun as a beginner.

Illness is the doctor to whom we pay most heed; to kindness, to knowledge, we make promise only; pain we obey.
How the hell does Phantom pain is 19,99? Not even a year that its out, crazy!

It's a steal at that price. I'm thinking Konami is more interested in getting you hooked on FOB insurance than paying for the game.

Been playing the games I bought, thought I'd share too:

Disgaea 4 (been awhile since I played 3, wow did they bump up the visuals!)
Steins;Gate (I love the anime but playing as Okabe takes getting used to, story is still jolly!)
Resonance of Fate (took me too long to buy this game, and dear lord have I been missing out ! )

Parasite Eve 2 (Did not manage to finish it all those years a go, thought now would be a good time to buy and be ready)
Vagrant Story (It was either this, FFT or Tactics Ogre - I never played Vagrant Story before so that's that - will be awhile before I play it thoroughly)

All in all I paid about $47 AUD, and am pretty happy with it!

As an added bonus; Oreshika is part of this month's PS+ giving me another new game to play on my Vita.

If I want to get the complete Atelier and Hyperdimension series of games, which should I go for / avoid so as not to get doubles between PS3 and Vita?

Should I get the original Gravity Rush on Vita or spend the extra 5 or so bucks and get the HD version on PS4? Are the upgrades worth it?

Honestly, yeah, it's visually more impressive and smooth, but you can't go wrong with either version really, so pick your preference: console or portable.

I found the gravity slide way more manageable on PS4 personally, so I'd go with that. Plus you get all of the DLC into the bargain.

Fork over the extra money, it runs better and looks nicer, plus it's a lot easier to play with the DS4 imo.

For Neptunia go for the Rebirth games, because they are better than the PS3 versions.

The Atelier games I haven't played so I can't help you there.

I'm the same. In the Vita version the gravity slide was super annoying to control to the point where I only used it when I had to.
In PS4 I used it constantly and it made the combat flow way better.

The Atelier Vita games have the DLC included and some changes here and there, so I'd go with those.
I have all of them for both the PS3 and Vita btw.
Unless you want to get that triple pack on the PS3 for cheap...

what do people think of killer is dead?
I played the first three missions on PC and didn't enjoy it. It's got a cool atmosphere but pretty annoying characters. The story was interesting but seemed like it could end up Suda51 nonsense.

The gameplay was boring though which was the worst part for me. If you're after something even comparable to a Platinum game you're looking in the wrong place. I feel like I have quite high standards for action games, though, and I can't play mediocre ones so maybe it was just mediocre.

Disgaea 5 is fantastic so you don't have anything to worry about.
Unless you mean that you'll end up spending 800 hours playing the game. ;)

God damn it . Now I have to buy FF X/X2 for that price.

I have never bought a pre-paid card. If I buy it off Amazon, will get the codes directly or will they send the card through the post?

Also, silly question, but does PSN accept a direct Paypal payment?

God, I missed some of these, but there are still so many great games. I probably have to buy a few of these.

I'm still on the fence about buying Muramasa. I always wanted to play the original on Wii, but now I'm not sure if I'd actually enjoy it.

Kind of. It looks like you deposit the exat amount you want to pay into the PSN wallet when you buy something. When I bought Front Mission 3 (25 NOK) I found there was a minimum amount that had to be deposited for it to work (40 NOK) so I ended up with a little extra in the wallet. When I bought Tactics Ogre later I could pay the exact amount no problem.

Btw, can I start a PS+ trial and add Orieshika to it now and play it when I eventually start a real sub? I have no need for PS+ at the moment, but I might sub when (if) I buy a PS4 for Persona 5 later this year.

Was hoping it was somewhat decentt, but it doesn't look that great at all.

The problem is that Its not my account, sadly, and its my cousins. So what I wanted to do was, just use his account on the PS4 itself, and Log in to my Paypal and pay it there.

Had a little splurge, gave Demon's Gaze a chance, a lot of people here seem to like it and are looking forward to the sequel. Also picked up Disgaea 3: Absence Of Detention (I never bothered with the series after 2, I loved the first game, but didn't click with the sequel), Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment, Okage Shadow King (which I'd never heard of until it had been announced for PS4; we certainly didn't get it in the UK, and I don't remember any magazines I read at the time covering it), and Vagrant Story (it was initially bugged on my account due to an expired 50% off code, but support sorted it out, thankfully). I also picked up a couple of PSP games that I already own, and have the urge to play again (thanks to Fire Emblem Fates), Final Fantasy Tactics: War Of The Lions and Tactics Ogre. I can't be bothered to dig my PSP out and charge it, so buying them again, digitally to play on Vita is the most convenient.

There's so much other stuff I'd like to pick up, but I've already spent a fortune this month.

It's not a very long game but it's beautful and plays amazing on Vita. Had it on PS+ way back.

I think that should work. You probably have to add your paypal account as a payment option and remove it when you're done. I only use the online store since stuff like that is so much easier to deal with in a browser.

Sweet.

Thanks for letting me know. I might do that tonight.

It's like a 15-20 hour game if you do both routes and go for the true ending, it'll take you a bit longer if you care about trophies but regardless it's a great game.

Definitely get the PS4 version for only an extra 5 notes. It runs at double the frame rate, the DualShock 4 is a much more comfortable device for playing it and the visuals and art style get the chance to really pop on the big screen.

I ended up buying FF X/X2 thanks to the user who pointed out that I can pay with PayPal.

God, FF X starts so slow. been playing for the first 4 hours and its absolutely amazing how shite writing and characters just puts a great story down. That and the art style is uglier than I remember it was. Also, I keep struggling with the controls.

Hope it gets better, because so far I am hating it.
