I hardly think that DI is anything popular in NA either. I don't know anyone who plays it. I tried it once and lost interest fairly quickly, but the figures are awesome.

Actually, I've never checked, how big is Star Wars in Japan?
Trust me, the leaks will happen. All it will take is someone recording some footage from the back, or finding other means. But once they do, we're going to see some serious shit.

But really, I don't have any hard stats, but Star Wars is a worldwide phenomenon. Everything circumstantial I've seen says it's about as big in Japan as you'd expect.

They could really be enforcing that social media rule. I'm not sure how they could stop a flood of social media, but maybe they were completely set and serious about it. People could just post stuff after the first theater showing is over, but I guess we'll see.

Not as big as America, obviously, but it seems about as successful as you'd imagine. I've seen some people wearing Star Wars stuff lately and Uniclo has a bunch of Star Wars clothing right now, so it seems pretty popular. I didn't live here more than 3 years ago, though, so I've never seen the hype surrounding one of the films when it released.

Very cool scene though, and I can imagine how insane it must have been when it was first released, that intense foreshadowing for moviegoers. Empire Strikes Back is such an incredible sequel film.
Because the hype just never gets high enough!
I need it...I need my kingdom hearts fix....
