There's so much more to it than destroying the core, which 9 out of 10 times, doesn't ever happen anyway. Bases give no points. Bosses give anywhere from 25 to 150. If you want to win, just capturing bases and constantly losing them, and hoping to destroy the core, won't do it.

Pistol TTK 1.0-1.1 seconds, BR/DMR 1.2-1.28, Pistol kills faster, is harder to use, BR DMR are much easier to use kill slower.

Trying to get into warzone but there's a few things bugging me. It's very hard to notice when someone is trying to take back a base, there should be some sort of sound notification that they're trying.
The other is how there seems to be no reward for really attacking the spawned enemies, it purely gives 100% of the reward to the final HIT which means multiple teammates can be firing on something just to have it taken away by a stray shot from the other team. This is particualry rough considering the risk your team takes to split members off to focus on taking down an enemy. There's a huge reliance on the points from this as well which is a bummer for me.
The mode can be fun but I'm not really able to get very into it like I could with BTB so far.

Another disappointing thing is commendations only going up to level 5, which is 100 headshots or 30 multikills. Kinda miss the grind to 5,000 in reach.

Please patch something in where we can at least choose to matchmake by region like gears. Yeah the rapid matchmaking is great. Truly 343 you guys are good. But I don't mind an extra minute or two for them low ping games like you said we would get.

I didn't save the video but I got an unconventional kill on Warden Eternal in Warzone. He was low on health, decided to jump from the spire and ground pound him, then sprayed him in the face with the SMG and got the kill.
Maybe my ground pound hit the weak spot on his back? I dunno.

The back is the weakpoint but you can still kill/damage him just hitting his body.

I've got a question about aiming points. I play swat mostly, rank onyx Csr 1690. I'm having trouble with long range shooting and head shots, like my aim point is bad. I'm fine within 50-75m, it's those across the map shots. They are hitting the target, and I'm pretty sure my aim point is the same, but they are hitting low? Is there so form of drop? Penalty? Or something I'm missing? Or maybe I'm in my own head at this point

I have issues shooting over range too, the magnatism at that distance is very small that even when on my tv it looks like it's square on, I miss.
It feels weird and I can't seem to work it out either, I get sniped by magnums across orion all the time yet I can't seem to hit them back correctly.
Yea aim acceleration compared to 2 is really bad in 3... I really like how h5 feels so far though, maybe I just haven't noticed it much yet?
Also, is that you zoba?

Yea. I've got the close up game figured out and it's a blast to get head shots, and it's not a zoom/I zoom thing because I do well with both. I watched replays and I'm aiming at the exactly same height center mass and no kill. There's been a few times I started to turn away because I was sure he went down

For a game with such a rep for being "rock solid 60fps" why am I getting micro stutters? It happens at checkpoints, which is the usual, but also when moving along in the battle area in the campaign. It's almost like its having a hard time streaming the assets in quick enough.

Yeah. Think it was actually the nearby tank that got him low enough for me to finish. I found it in theater and recorded it.

I think its my favourite Halo campaign, especially when it comes to just straight up gameplay. Its a joy to just shoot shit and the added boost and ground pound add an extra element of fun and tactics.
Fuck that ending though and the recycling of the same boss over and over got old fast.

How broken is the ranking system?
I struggled my way through the first 10 arena games hoping I would end up in Iron or something and play against like minded broken thumbs....

I lost all but one of my ranking games and wound up in Diamond. I think the ranking system is too easily influenced by the occasional lucky killing spree or something, I was expecting to end up in Bronze.

Wtf, no offense. I'm one or two games away from getting my rank. Despite a couple matches that started 3v4, the usual bad team mates playing lone wolf, and the new game adjustment, I'm sitting at 2.3 kd with a 50-60% win rate. I oughta be ranked champion

Now see, I take issue with this.
In no way am I making fun of your stats, I just want that to be clear because we all have bad stretches. But how is it I carried teams at times in my first 10 Slayer matches, won half my matches and still ended up in Gold 1?
