Late 2016 is more likely if they don't hit another delay. Europe is not seeing this till 2017.

Edit: I just don't see simultaneous release happening. Their priority got to be to get JPN version out no matter what and its unlikely they will delay JPN release for localization dev changes. Now, hopefully voice work and script will be done ahead of time but who knows what's happening there at this point.

I didn't really expect it to come out this year though I admit I doubted that a bit after they kept saying 2015. I didn't really have time to play it this year so I don't really mind. I feel Uncharted 4 or Persona 5 is going to be my excuse to finally buy a PS4, though not sure if I'm going to wait till 2016 now. I will say the delay makes it a bit easier to try to hold out for a PS4 price drop over here.

There haven't been placeholder listings for quite some time as far as I know. There's no placeholder on Best Buy or Amazon, the two places I buy games from. Not even GameStop has one. Didn't Atlus actually force those placeholders to be taken down?

That to me was quite suspect. Yeah, having a CE means the marketing is for real. But not even having a placeholder? Weird.

Something like that, yes. I still have a couple of Future Shop and Best Buy Persona 5 pre-orders from when they were up, but they were taken down hastily afterwards.

Biggest non-shocker of the year, IMO. They went far too long without revealing any info for it, shrugged off questions of a release time and again and then 6+ month delay. So probably next fall for NA at the rate they're going.

The only true system seller for me at this point is Bloodborne. Once Uncharted 4 comes out there'll be two, but right now I can't really justify spending that kind of money for just one game.
