hmm here's something interesting for bison that i read on SRK and was able to test before getting booted. I was having kinda a tough time seeing how his v-trigger was really useful besides some mild animation shenanigans (the teleports). But it seems that you can cancel regular special moves with ex special moves while in v-trigger. so you can scissor-kick xx EX inferno, which looks awesome.

I kind of agree but it really doesn't help that anyone can go preorder for free on amazon and get as many codes as they wish. There's probably a lot of people trying to connect at once.

Disconnected while getting demolished by Cammy..laggy, too.
Why ? You would have a billion of other things to do with the actual game.
From story, arcade, training, challenges, etc...
It's not like everybody would be hammering online. And also it would be P2P friends invite mostly.
No reason to doubt.

It would figure my first match comes when I'm texting Bison, my least comfortable character.
They're using a completely new online infrastructure. I'm not surprised that they wanted to stress test it first.
It's a beta... they're not going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to have a ton of servers for a beta that's intended to last 5 days -- as well as the fact that the full game doesn't come out for another 8-9 months.
They didn't clearly properly plan for this first phase of the beta to be so popular.
The full game will have completely different expectations and what they got from this beta will help them make sure there are no issues in March 2016.

And Capcom knows this. It's a unfortunate situation for both them and the players.
I got disconnected a few minutes ago. But other than that, I was able to get on at least 4 times in the last hour or two. However, I only got 2 online matches in.
Don't forget to kiss a picture of Ono in a costume.

Got to play in training mode for a good 45 minutes and got a couple matches in as well with Ryu then got booted with 006. Having to use both heavies for Trigger is really throwing me off,I'm so used to using both mediums that I can't hit them fast enough. I'm winning my matches and doing well but I just cant any good combos going,even with Ryu. I really need to practice when the game comes out.
Oh no doubt lol. I just mean like... they haven't acknowledged matchmaking specifically in hours. As though it's "fine".

Got back in and was messing around with everyone. Of course the moment I do get a march I'm using Chunners against a guy who was level 7 with Bison. How'd he even get that many matches in?
