No I'm implying that if you don't want to be subject to COMPLETE randomness and a lottery , you have to order it from the american PSN.

He said there's a lot of Euros who preordered the game on Amazon US so they could get into the US beta because it was guaranteed unlike the lottery the rest of the world got.

Or you could have gotten a key from Amazon risk free. I'd never actually spend money to get into a beta. They should be thankful I am participating.

Imo, it depends on your playstyle and character. Vortex focused players will probably have the most difficult transition.
Agreed, combos are really easy from what I tried with Ryu and the only thing that gave me difficulties was timing the hit after a V-Trigger cancel. While we are talking about easy combos when ya up for some Omega Edition?

There's a 3f buffer just like Omega Mode.
You'll transistion well, less things to worry about IMO. "Easy to play, hard to master" fits well. I think it's even more beneficial if you've played SF3. It's really that basic besides the easier links and execution. For instance, Gootecks would probably say he's not that good at USF4, but so far he's pretty damn good at SFV from what I've saw at E3 through the weekend. Valle loves it because it fits his playstyle. Nothing too complicated, more offensive and footsies oriented, big damage, rushdown city.
This is actually going to kind of work out for me. I DID buy a new fightstick, but not just because of the beta. Because I got USFIV on PS4 and I'd knew I'd need one for SFV. All I had was my 6 year old 360 one so it was about time to upgrade anyway.
Now that the beta's delayed, it might actually get here in time for me to use it for it lol

Again, you shouldn't be doing that if you're only doing it to get into a beta. That's a really dumb thing to do. You're paying money for something that was never guaranteed to work in the first place, and them whining when it doesn't work. If you were going to buy the game off the American PSN anyway for some reason, then whatever. But if you're coming in here because you paid money that you can't get refunded and are mad because a beta is acting like a beta, then you're just being immature and ignorant towards the whole situation.
It was NEVER an incentive for European players to jump on American PSN to download the beta. You can tell, because Europeans who did so have to make a dummy account with a fake American address just to do so. This incentive was never meant for them, so to try and use that as some kind of defense for why people should act all indignant is laughable at best. So your whole "It's called an incentive." line is bullshit, because doing it the way those people are doing it was never supposed to be an incentive for them in the first place.
Amazon and all of the other outlets didn't let those people pre-order because they could probably tell that those people were never going to buy the game through them anyway. Sony doesn't give a shit and will let them, because Sony doesn't offer refunds. Those people trying to do it that way have no one but themselves to blame.

i bought one of those "rivals" white TE2 sticks and just realized it doesn't have a touchpad. not a big deal in the long run but causes some issues with current games it seems. i actually bought it for usf4 but its still sitting un-opened because i haven't gotten around to buying that yet because of the botched launch...hah
that and i had 0% success connecting to the servers yesterday. in the words of infiltration

For real...I just really hope the new system doesn't lead to a lack of big updates with system wide mechanical changes cuz those old updates despite the bad name attributed to them breathed life into the game.

Oh shit. I just realized that. I got the standard TE2 but I don't think it has one either. What is it used for in SFV? I know in IV you can use it to assign buttons at character select.

I had time off to take, I get paid for it, why not do it for something I wanted to play, not like this the only thing ima do but it's deff something I wanted to play a lot. That ain't happening now.
We next gen now but we still got these issues, next gen ain't shit expect doodoo. Ima still buy sf5 tho.

Just sold my PS4. I specifically bought it to play this demo and it doesn't even work? Fuck that. Cancelled my preorder too, I'll just wait for the PC release or whatever. I broke up with my girlfriend earlier this week so I wouldn't have anything to distract me from the lab, and I can't even get into training mode. Ffs Crapcom.
You dont have to. This is the user's fault I this regard the Beta was a lottery system for EU,if the person decided to pay for American version that's their fault. If EU people are mad they are in a lottery system perhaps they don't need to buy the game. Fucking hell some of gamers nowadays are entitled as fuck crying over a Beta even when your region weren't promised a Beta.

I think you massively missed the point on what a "beta test" actually is.
Doesn't PS4 support system-wide button mapping? Not near mine at the moment but could you reassign say the rightmost buttons on your stick to touchpad left and right?
