The loot drop rate for vog was rather low so not too many are/were going to have full setups but after weeks of running it and finally getting a chest plate, a week later it's classed as low tier because the store has 31 light gear selling for cheap.

It was really upsetting, the npc gear could have been set to 30 to match it but nope they went one bullshit step ahead and did a goof.

Bungie could easily put the vendor selling 30 gear then add the 31 gear later when HM Crota launched. Quite easy I think

Eh, I'm probably in the minority but I'm still having fun playing Destiny. I started late though (Christmas). I'm looking forward to a new raid at least.

You came in when Destiny was patched. The vanilla was bare bones compared to where the game is at now.

Even with these two "expansions" of content, Destiny doesn't have a complete game's worth of content. I would have said I hope they rethink the quantity of content released with Destiny II but the amount of money Destiny made suggests they'll never change and people keep buying and playing it so I guess I'm done with this franchise forever since it will never change and improve.

There's more actual content in the first area of Bloodborne than all of Destiny + 2 expansions and that's really sad considering how much more Destiny cost to make and how much it will cost players to buy all the content.

I love Bloodborne as much as anybody but...man people gotta chill with the hyperbole.

I've played Destiny as much as I'm going to play it. I've put my hours in and I'm done with the game. I feel zero obligation to play this because I bought the Season Pass. Witcher 3 comes out that same day and I'm going to be playing Destiny? lol stop.

Yep, it's all about the Raid for the most part. I can't believe Bungie would be that stupid, but it sounds like we're getting horde mode.

It should be a sign that they spent their time and resources designing something new to replace the Raid as the end-game content, so that more than 5% of the player base will actually take part.

I know that the Raids have some amazing mechanics... but the barrier for entry was simply too great.

Honestly, it's even worse than that. The loading screen in BB has more content. I turn on Destiny and just sit there with the controller in my hand. Sure, it's thin, but it's very zen.

It's basically a mode where you fight numerous waves of enemies. For example: CoD zombies, Gears 2 horde mode, Halo ODST firefight, etc.

I wonder how well it would work for them if they changed things up so raids ended up being free updates, but difficult to the point where you need expansion gear to have any real chance of completing them. I could see that keeping the game in people's minds.

Was a copy/paste/edit from Expansion 1 info... so it would be strange to accidentally delete "and Raid" from it.

If there is a major meltdown, I'm sure they will announce one will be patched in for free a month or two down the line. But I'd worry about the quality of it, unless they indeed have been working on a new one all this time. But I suspect all effort was put into making sure this new Arena mode was worth it.

I think the arena (horde mode) is the raid level activity. If it's 50 waves like Gears with new enemies I'll be happy.

What if it's a "danger room" type environment with changing structures and layouts? Factor in new enemies and clever setup and it could be something cool....no?

Simply based on my experiences with a variety of arena-modes. They all boil down to the same thing, so I may have been a bit hyperbolic. I just don't have a taste for that kind of gameplay.

Yeah, I don't know if I want to invest time in destiny again. I picked Awoken thinking it would be mysterious but nope.......generic as could be. I felt a little let down by the Dark Below. It came to a boiling point when I realize that after months of running dark and drab Eris missions her level caps out at 4!!!!!!! What?

They could have recycled the Eris/Xur Urn missions with a little variations, Something to stretch her stay out. And who the fuck ties a spaceship to a rail like a fuckin horse?

I traded my PS4 into Amazon for credit a few weeks back while the trade in value was abnormally high during a midnight glitch. As a result I was able to snag a LE Arkham Knight console with no out of pocket. I guess this will be my break until 6/23 when it arrives. i guess I'll be a little late. Please surprise me Bungie!
