I can't talk about stuff we haven't announced yet. However we are still going with the 'retro' theme for new arcade sticks coming out. The White 'Rivals' one is a throwback to the Comic-Con TE from 2009.

We have another one coming out that will also be a throwback to an old favorite.

That's what I plan to do but I wanna be prepared for tournaments before the sticks come out so there isn't much of a transition.

That pretty much tells me the netcode is still bad.

If you are getting "some decent" connections then that means you are getting "some bad" connections.

Like even Marvel 3 has "some decent" connections as well. You need your netcode to be at the bare minimum be decent all the time (outside of bizarro cases) and be great a lot of the time for it to be good overall.

I'M SO CONFUSED. Daigo won first but he lost a set to Momochi and Sako, and since washed-up-ness is transitive, that technically makes Xian the most washed up since he got bodied last!

It may have gotten more viewers but probably unlikely that they would make more money. I don't know the details on Nico but twitch takes like 50% of the revenue. If Canada Cup was any indication, finding a free alternative (through mobile or console) wasn't very hard either.

Nah, you don't have a great connection on other fighting games with well thought out netcode then all of a sudden have matches that run like ass on MKX.

It's an issue with MKX as other NRS games before it. I hope people continue to be vocal about it because this is silly with the budget their games get. Maybe less money on sponsoring race cars and more money on things people actually give a shit about.

Not that this should have come as any surprise. The way the team bobbed and weaved around net code questions like they had a gag order should have been evidence enough.

I can only go by the opinions of people I trust who have played the game in its current state. If they some how release a net code saving patch day one trust me I'll be first in line singing praises.

This is what gets me. They're doing all these things that center around online yet they just don't seem to give a shit about the netcode.
I've never been a big fan of NRS games but I'm really excited X. It looks great. Its just frustrating that they don't seem to care.
