That Lenalee looks beautiful as ever. ☺️
Road our first Noah was introduced and let's say she's pretty awesome. Seeing her play around with Allen was so good, I mean she was basically fucking around with him. Miranda was also introduced, an individual who was chosen by the innocence. She's really clumsy but that part of her makes her character enjoyable.
In this Vol Lenalee was given lots of screentime which I enjoyed a lot. Bits of her backstory was given and it seemed she was stripped from her brother Komui at an early age. Luckly her brother came for her and became a scientist at the Order. Pretty bittersweet story. Anyways I really enjoyed Lenalee's and Allen's interactions a lot. Lenalee saves Allen's life even though he was trying to save that Akuma from the explosion. Allen gets angry and yells at Lenalee but he gets slapped some sense into him, which he really did need. So far Lenalee's character has been great.
It was a funny and enjoyable Vol to read.

Almost everything Kubo has done for the past 4 years should make him feel shame. The only the positive thing he's done is the lack of Terra Formars racism found in his manga.

I believe Kubo was gonna end Bleach earlier, but his Editor made him prolong it. So you should blame the Editor for Kubo's lazy writing. I mean you can clearly tell he doesn't give a fuck anymore.
Seriously why do some of the Editors at Shonen Jump give bad advice?

Sweet Jesus Tokyo Ghoul's magazine covers look so good. The art is really beautiful especially with Haise, Akira, Suzuya, Fat lips, and Hirako.

It's about to go down. I fully expect Mō Bū to tell Ryō Fū I to take a hike, but if not, I would love to see him duel Shin. It's kind of crazy that shin can fight toe to toe with motherfuckers like that nowadays, but a showdown like that would be awesome.
Ryō Fū I seems supremely confident, but he doesn't know the Hi Shin Unit is about to fuck up his dreams.

Never thought I would ever get to read the Seraph of the End novels. I was always hoping it would get an ova adaptation, but being able to read the series is better than ever.
Vertical will keep getting my money for Gundam, Cardfight!! Vanguard, and now Seraph of the End.

So I've been watching Gintama (in the 30s) and I saw a few earlier volumes of the manga and peeked through them and hardly recognized a lot of the scenes. How different is the Gintama anime from the Manga and which one is better?

Both Manga and Anime are great, but the Anime is better due to the VAs, animation, and OST. I mean you can't go wrong with both but if you had to pick one it would be the Anime.
Plus the filler in the Anime doesn't seem like filler at all because it's blended so well with the series.

The anime adds a lot of scenes to episodes since often it does a 1 chapter to 1 episode conversion. As for better that's a bit hard, while the voice acting adds a lot to the content in the anime, the manga tends to convey emotions better (to me at least).

Well Tokyo Ghoul's genre is tragedy after all. Plus in the beginning he did mention that if he were a protagonist of a story it would be a tragedy. But yeah poor soul never gets a single break but that's what makes it beautiful because we see him struggle to overcome hardships one by one.
Anyways what was your impression on series?

Why are Uta and crew running this? What do they have to gain? I don't understand their motivation although that's probably the biggest mystery of the series.

You'll be happy to know there was a Con on my campus today and I saw far more Kanekis then anything else, dwarfing even Attack on Titan and Naruto :lol
There were a lot of Toukas and Juuzous too. I guess it's really popular in the west, Kaneki's mask is like the new Naruto headband or Hollow Mask

The greatest of pleasures, it got a little TOO smutty for my liking but that was 2-3 ago, lets see what I think now after I've been tainted by mangaf.

Hmmm I find it really surprising how this series got popular quickly. Not that many Seinen series are that popular with the exception of Beserk. I mean especially given the anime by Studio Pierrot which was a failure as a manga adaption. I guess it helped give the series a wider recognition towards the manga. Anyways I'm glad it's getting acknowledged.
Yeah I guess Kaneki's mask is the new thing.

Pfft that doesn't surprise me at all, I'll never understand how people can sit through poor adaptations like that and still like it so much. Remember the last popular series was Attack on Titan with it's horrendous pacing issues. I guess they just don't know?
Anyway for me I can see the appeal of Tokyo Ghoul easily. By now I'm more invested in it then Attack on Titan as far as mysteries go. Pretty much everything else is better as well like characters and art, I'm not surprised it's the next big thing but it probably will never get as popular as SAO or AoT.

The first episode of Shigeki and Tokyo Ghoul were pretty well done and usually thats enough to make people go to read the manga.
I wish there were Ayato cosplays, best character. And also Takizawa. Tokyo Ghoul √A is so good.
