I don't want Raku to pursue her. It'd be out of character and it wouldn't go anywhere anyway. No, I just want her to actually be around.
Anyway, I mapped out a way this could be setting up a true end game, tying in that story book, but I would be surprised if this isn't somehow resolved quickly and returned to the status quo or some facsimile thereof.
Like I said, the longer he sets this up without actually committing to any changes, the less I'm inclined to believe he intends to actually make them. For example, it would have been very easy for him to commit to the fake relationship ending, but he's kept that intact through the last couple chapters for no actual reason but for the fact it would be very hard to undo.
