Kitto Kawaii Onnanoko Dakara 1-2

Love stories with unsocial/awkward/unfeminine women.

I like the Part 1 of Usagi Drop more than My Girl. Rin actually feels more like a kid whereas Koharu was akin to the author's voice. Sometimes, she speaks way too profound for her age.

Sabu to Ichi Torimonohikae was recently completed in Eng. I know someone who watch around 12 episodes of the anime and love it. A quick google search also found flawsful mentioning it.

What have I done.

Prepare MangaGAF for the next breathtaking trend, Kokou no Hito is also kinda similar to Punpun.

Yankee-Kun to Megane Chan is a manga that I feel tons of dissapointment with.

the initial premise was genius. It was fresh, it was funny, it was endearing. The MC interactions were genuine, and nobody broke character, One of the MCs was growing naturally and the female MC stayed as a strong basis for the storylines.

The underlying storyline concerning the female MC's past was intriguing and was an alluring plotline that kept the series grounded even with all the comedic tones.

and then....all that shit was dropped for typical high school trope shit. Suddenly it went from 2 main characters to 6+ motherfuckers and it just concentrated on exam antics.

What a waste of so much fucking potential.

That's why i dropped her new manga too, cause i immediately saw the same pattern by chapter 20.

Another manga i feel is also doing an about-face into a worse manga is Witchcraft Works. the art, the concept, the characters are some of my favorites. But right around the announcement of the anime, the manga has taken a dip into a nothing but comedy/MOE outline and it's been stagnant in the story progress.

I had so much expectations for the anime, even though i knew it

Soma 105

I've got a good feeling about this.

She's basically a pseudo-Erina, so we can consider this practice for the real thing

kinda loss track what the religious cult actually do. so many stuff seem feel confusing for me.

the Punpun story is quite nice. albeit the gritty-ness sometimes take bit to far. but is nice depressing story

"Trendsetter, never been better." Imagine you start a new trend across the internet? Awesome.

I'm content with just MangaGAF~
Solanin is much better than Punpun.
Solanin is more pleasant to read and feels much more realistic and relatable. Punpun is very bizarre, thought-provoking and all-around unique in the way it employs the medium and the story it depicts. Both have their own merits but are very different pieces of work and I'd say it's not really appropriate to compare the two, despite some similarities.

From the recent Persona 5 hype, and a Gematsu article on it, I just read this
Story – The protagonist and friends attend Shujin Academy, a private high school. (The name is a play on the Japanese word for prisoner, shuujin.)
You guys must already know what manga that come up to my mind first reading that lolol

Some stuff I got today:

Sadly some volumes were a bit bruised.

It made me so sad when I read that last year.

I'm legit jealous seeing that Kingdom volume ;__;

Kiyoshi DOES look like the protagonist from P3.

...I need something new to read. Yeah, I know Punpun's all the rage here at the moment, but I'd rather save that for a time that would be appropriate.

I already just finished getting up to date on Aunt Tits, give me something ecchi to fill that void.

Dragon's Rioting
Centaur's Worries
Monster Musume

Shin Kurosawa 13

Why is Kurosawa even following this guy around?

My Hero Academia 10.5

Someone will get off to this.

Kiyoshi DOES look like the protagonist from P3.

The only way they could make a protagonist more based then Yu is to just make Kiyoshi the protagonist.

Dragon's Rioting

This sounds really dumb should I read it? As long as I don't catch up on TLR I can remain in the smut phase forever before moving into the actually good manga phase

Here's the synopsis for Dragon's Rioting.
As a 6 Year Old, Rintaro is diagnosed with Henisei Tashu Ijou Syndrome (also known as Hentai Syndrome), a disease that could kill him if he gets sexually aroused. To save him and provide a way for him to live as normal a life as possible, his father teaches him the ways to control his body and mind for ten years in the mountains, with the martial art of the Koei Sougetsu. When he's 16 he chooses to enroll Nangokuren High School, which he assumed to be the biggest all-boys school in the country but is actually the biggest all-girls school that has just gone coed.

It's not the best thing, but it sure is enjoyable if your looking for smut. So yeah go ahead and read it.

That sounds really awful I'll read the first chapter right away

Dragons Rioting 1

Stupid but the protag bailing the fuck out whenever something ecchi happens is kinda funny

That's the most Japanese Smut Industry thing I've heard this week.

The best part of the series is Rintaro busting out a new ultra-secret trump card technique every chapter just to dodge boobs. He's Bizarro Rito.

Alice in Borderland 18-19

Surprisingly fast enacting of the plan. Wasn't really prepared for how fast it was done.

But the other dreaded part of 'beach' type survival game arcs has reared it's ugly head at the end of ch19.

Reading Punpun when I had to wait 3-4 months between each volume was tough. Actually the last volume came out two months ago, I was so happy to get it.

It was such a great experience, talking about it with my friends who also were reading it every time a new volume came out, making my gf read it...

The wait in between the events of the second to last volume release and the final volume release was agonizing. :lol

It's also always very cool to meet folks online or off who have follower the series. Everyone has such wildly different interpretations of the series and it's really cool seeing all the different perspectives.

RockTurtle preaching his soul out right now. Yankee-kun was aiming for my personal Mount Rushmore of manga and even with the main character cast (the initial 5 + inverse Hana), the interactions were solid and legitimately some of the most funny shit ever. Then we get the combination of that entire second half with the various school kids that are at best mildly related to the core group and that fucking ending... Charlie_Brown_argggggggh.mp3

If Witchcraft Works truly goes in that direction as well, I'll be very sad because it had a very particular draw from the jump that should have been doubled down on. That and I fucking LOVE the art in the series (specifically the magic effects rendering) so it'd be a sad day for me who found it on a whim way back in the MangaGAF days.

Shokugeki no Soma 105
Oh, look at that. Another girl better than Erina.

Erina is and has always been Roll Tier. She's only moderately tolerable when taken out of her element by Soma a la the "will taste for manga fix" segment during the Mimasaka chapters.

Seeing people's first reaction from reading Prison School is always entertainin.

Prison School is a premise that somehow should automatically turn off 3/4ths of its current reader base but manages to retain them through the use of Thirst™ as a plot mechanic and writing that sounds like its delivered by William Shatner in a fever dream.

It's incredible. :lol

Whoever's cleaning the "free" version of Shokugeki is way over-doing it. Hayama looks like a zombie.
