LET'S TAKE A GOOD STRETCH
READY TO STRETCH THOSE SHOULDERS
LET'S STRETCH OUR FEET
You just can't get angry at that.

I also laugh when Pac-Man taunts. In fact, Pac-Man is so adorable, I just laugh if I lose to him.

Also, don't mind losing to Ganondorf. Takes skill to win with that guy. The one I encountered in For Glory was amazing.

God damn it, Nintendo.

God damn it.

The Eggplant trophy description is also a pun fest. The Treehouse went nuts on this thing.

Self aware Nintendo is hilarious.

Maybe we fought the same one then. I've played one Ganondorf guy twice, but I don't recall his name. He was really good though.

Looking like Villager will end up my gen 4 main. Really fun to play as, versatile, unpredictable and a good amount of risk/reward to keep things interesting.

That's strange. I've gotten every custom outfit and got a message telling me so, but it did not say that. Sounds like we're both playing the North American version, too. Huh...
Ash, I dedicate this shot to you:

(I just think it's a cool shot featuring Mega Man -- not meant to imply you're KO'd or something!)

It takes colossal spirit-testicles to play Ganondorf. When you're bested by one, you take off your sunglasses and then the pair of sunglasses underneath your sunglasses. You can't begrudge such a person -- they are one with the 'dorf, and it is good.

Deciding which Ness customs to use is touuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.

Any Ness mains got any tips? Thinking I'll at least go through with Lasting PK Thunder.

i have yet to face a Peach online
I fought one today, a really good Peach, and beat him. But he (or she) bested me with Sheik and Toon Link the matches prior. Close calls, though.

I'm a bit surprised by how fast Peach does her booty bump. I recall it having a lot more windup in Brawl.

Someone in here mentioned people getting so mad about losing to Little Mac that they counter-picked Little Mac themselves. I just had that happen to me, and I'm still so new that it was the first time I had ever actually faced that matchup and fell to a KO punch.

I still beat him which probably made him madder

Ike... So frustrating. I'm grinding it out, trying to improve, but sometimes I feel like I'm fighting for a lost cause. His matchups are... poor across the board. Only my opinion, obviously, but if they plan on patching for balance I hope he gets some love.

On Little Mac:
I feel like Little Mac benefits too greatly from the input lag online. It's nearly impossible to react to his dash attack with a counter if he begins running before I pull the trigger. So frustrating.

Probably me. Don't feel too bad, KO punches and counters will often kill you in Mac dittos regardless of skill level.

I feel just the opposite, Mac relies so heavily on counters (its honestly one of his better recovery options) that input lag makes him really frustrating to play.

There any way to get rid of that notification telling me there's a patch out? Neat, Nintendo. I don't need to have a blinking reminder every time I go to the main menu.

I love when people do that. Nothing more satisfying than beating them after they rage-switch to your character to show how it takes no skill to win with it.

I've had people get mad with my Zero Suit Samus and then counterpick ZSS themselves. What's funny is both times it happened, I had been the orange short-shorts Samus and switched to the blue short-shorts Samus (I alternate between the two), and the other person picked blue to be distinct from my orange, but since I alternated we were both blue.

What ensued was rampant confusion as we'd knee-dash past each other, stop, and realize we thought we were controlling the other character, lol.

I won those matches, but feel like some hits were luck since I was getting mixed up as to who was who.

I've noticed that if two people pick Little Mac, there's a very high chance that one player will accidentally SD by confusing who they are and using his side B too close to the edge.

I honestly wouldn't mind yellow devil if the stage was larger. It's a more difficult stage hazard than normal, yeah, but that's also part of the appeal. He's a classic pain in the ass. the problem is that he takes up like half the stage.

I kind of want to try Little Mac since I was hyped as hell for him back in February, but everyone is using Little Mac and I must be a unique little snowflake.

(So far I've only encountered one other person who uses ZSS by default. But yes, I know, she's probably hardly unique in the grand scheme of things.)

Wait, what's your 3DS name?

I meant it was probably me who was bitching about how people swap to Little Mac after a loss in this thread, not me who you played.
3DS name is Hatchtag with the Japanese smiley-looking letter after it, but I haven't played last night, so it probably wasn't me who you played.

ZSS is my number 2 most encountered with Little Mac at one. Try using Peach if you want to be unique.

I don't think I've seen him last on the stage for more than eight seconds. Love him and Flying Man.

Though I guess I don't particularly care for the Dark Emperor.

Do we know how many trophies there are?
685, I believe. Used to be 686 but they cut Tharja.

Side note, I really like Conquest, surprisingly enough. Right now it's Bowser vs. Villager, "The King and the Commoner." It's simple but enjoyable seeing the matchups and the popularity based on... usage, I guess? Not 100% sure how it works but it's nice to check in every now and then.

Like with Mega Man vs. Mario, Mario had a clear upper-hand in most territories, but it was a fair even split in the Americas.

Ah, okay (the guy's name had "gator" in it and given your avatar I suddenly wondered).
