Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT2| Nintendo All-Stars Battle Quarter Pounder

This game is going to give me arthritis...I think I'm getting a little better. I'm actually managing to get some wins online. I've really come to enjoy playing Lucina.
 
So ever since installing the patch, I can't play the game.

It tells me that I need space on my SD card, I say OKAY because it's the only option. Then it says I need more space on my SD card and tells me to turn off the system or go back to the home menu. I uninstalled the patch, and same thing.

I deleted a bunch of demos that added up to about 2000 blocks. I'm going to delete all my Animal Crossing screenshots once I copy them over to my PC (yes, I am weird and keep hundreds of AC screenshots saved to my PC). I decided to back up everything and it's taking like 3 hours.

Anyway, I really don't think the space is actually the issue. I have a 0 MB "?" file on my 3DS that I think may be something corrupted and related to Smash. I'm going to take a look while I have the SD card connected to my PC and see if there's anything corrupt I can rip out of there.

I was playing the game just fine up until this morning when I decided I should grab the patch. Frustrating. My pain is sort of eased by the fact that I was busy with other stuff all day, but it's pretty unacceptable to have a game I can't play at all for seemingly no reason.

Windows said it was copying 5.6 GB of data, and it's an 8 GB SD card. Even taking into account that it's probably not actually 8 GB of free and available space, I should expect to have at least 2 GB available. Based on the fact that I can't find anything about this issue online, I'm guessing the patch does not use up 2 GB of space.

Lol. It's really weird when you take him outside of for glory on the regular stages. He has so many weaknesses. Even just on Battlefield he can have trouble. But he rocks for glory.

I'll have them at like 140% when I'm below 100% but I go in for KO moves an end up getting killed and I have to kill them on my second stock.

D: Any tips bruh?

My current options are dash into uair, ledge guarding with up-b, dash then jump into uair, and very rarely I get a hit with down b. But I mainly use down-b to gain control of the stage again. I also try to use f-smash, but with characters with long range smashes I don't usually hit.

Sorry if the wording sound weird, trying to make it sound as simple as possible.
 
Great I liking Zero Suit Samus a lot too. I starting to get quite a few characters I like so much! I want to stick to the 3 main limit if I can.

In all seriousness, our matches are the only ones that make me rage to wanting to quit this game. I stomp Duck Hunt Dog. I can break through Falco's game. Samus flees from my might. But the goddamn yoga instructor makes me second guess myself...

Though it wouldnt be nearly as bad without custom moves. Some of your stuff is BS, like the light orb custom. Get rid of that and I can handle it.

Edit: Also, just so it is clear, I am complimenting Beats. I am a goddamn Dormammu main in Marvel.
 
Who's maining Link?

Told myself I wanted Young Link or nothing, but Link is really great. Just feels like an all around good character. Quick, good distance, a nice Up+B, and the boomerang and bow give you at least SOMETHING when too far away.

I started with Villager, who I liked quite a bit, but the whole tree thing takes WAY too much time.
 
I gotta say, after 3 weeks I'm starting to get bored of this game. The combat just feels so slow and stally and boring after a while. I'm really starting to lose that excitement from playing it. Hoping my opinion changes soon, but if not, I'm gonna be super disappointed.

I've been maining Villager and one of my favourite things about him/her is the tree. It can be a real ace in the hole if you time it right. If your opponent's above 100%, sometimes the tip of the tree sprouting up and catching them in the air will be a KO. The tree actually falling does insane damage. But truthfully, it's not like I've been engaging in high level play or anything.

Maybe if you host it next time? (Does that make any difference?)

I sometimes have the same issue getting the final kill if the opponent is good with perfect shielding.

It's really hard to tell you how to improve other than try to avoid using your kill moves until they're high enough to knock off.

The move decay can be a pain and allow them to live longer to knock you out first. It's very situational with no right answer.
 
Anyone else have lag...not online, against the CPU, in Pac-Maze?

Playing it right now, and it seems every once in awhile, suddenly things would "slow-down", like 300-style, when I did an attack. Unless that's part of the stage?

EDIT: Pac-Maze is wild in FFA, though. And the Club Mix gets me hype.

I have no idea. My matches since I got the game have ranged from buttery smooth to mountainous terrain. Yesterday was even worse for me. Today was slightly better but still jittery. I doubt I'd have done better even if the connection was smooth lol xD
 
online is unbearable
so disappointing how very often there's extreme lag. I keep second guessing if it's my connection, but no, I really am playing like 20 people in a row with shit connection

I think it's part of stage. It happens when I play for fun online.
