Thanks god the online seems to be working in 1vs1 for glory. Havent got many lag fightings this time, and Ive played like 2 hours winning people left and right.
Little Mac is a beast, althouygh when I won the first time if the guy I played agaisnt stayed I usually changed to Peach.
Poor Peach, she never has been the same since the melee days, at least her ass bumb is better now, still she has zero power to smash people out of the stage, not even with air left or right smash (I dont think she even uses the crown right now? It wouldnt surprise me if that
was a 3DS limitation). Still I won a couple of matches using her.

If you tap on someone's portrait on the bottom screen, that reticle shows up.
 
Man I was very hopeful that Mega Man would become more viable once I could customize controls but... ugh he is just fucking terrible.
 
Gah I hate getting my concentration broken during a tense match >_< especially when it's someone talking you. Then it costs you the match.

There's my salty john for the day.
 
Played a match online last night (randoms, for fun) and sweet baby Jesus the game was unplayable >_<

I was hoping it would be better than Brawl, not worse.

So, is there any way to get custom moves other than classic mode? Because uh... I kind of don't want to play classic mode anymore

He's really just too slow and lost the things that were even good about him in Brawl (autocancelable Nair in a SH, autocancelable Dair, etc). He has no quick moves except jab and that won't get you anywhere. :/

His custom moves won't do much to save him either tbh. Meanwhile, Bowser got a new running animation and because of that they sped him up a little and gave him quick aerials and is way stronger than Ganondorf is while Ganondorf is way slower than Bowser and isn't even that much stronger to compensate for how much slower he is. It boggles my mind how they thought Ganondorf could be left alone like this...

It really bugs me too, especially considering just the character itself is one I would love to main, but he always gets treated like last minute scraps.

I really enjoy the game but a few things like seeing ganondorf and ike compared to the crazy power someone like bowser is frustrating. I haven't played ike a ton so I may be off base, but he feels really similar to brawl, and still has recovery problems. But his side B free falls unless it hits someone, then you look at fox of all people who can now side B, jump again, up B and it's like...what.
 
Has Nintendo released day 1 sales figures for regions outside Japan?

I played random 1 vs. 1 with a bunch of people last night. I had some matches where the input delay was unbearable but thankfully not all connections were like that.

Anyway I'm surprised that I actually like playing as Palutena. I can feel players get annoyed with the autoreticle which made countering easier
 
Hmm, I want to be good at default Palutena, but I just can't seem to get her. She has all kinds of awesome tools, a massive up smash, a counter, a projectile that homes in a bit, a projectile reflector, a teleport... and yet in my hands, it all just doesn't fit together.

My Lucina on the other hand, is pretty solid for a newbie, but I want more than one decent character, preferably one that can take the fight at range. I do like teleporting characters. But I wonder if Zelda would be worth looking into instead of Palutena.

Also, I need someone to shut down rushers. That is a tricky one. Ah well, it's day two and I have like 10 matches against people so far, so it's still early.
 
Lol won my first for glory match due to sending two players off the stage at once when I ejected Bowser Jr/Morton from the clown car.XD Yeah Bowser Jr rocks and quite amusing to watch and play as.
