Got a 2 hour break from work so I'm gonna go buy this so I'll be playing tonight :D

So I'm still befuddled on how the "Play in Sleep Mode" feature works in the music player. I close the system and the music turns off. I put the system into the feature literally called Sleep Mode by pressing Power for a second, and the whole game turns off. What is this Sleep Mode it wants me to use? ;-;
 
Well no Smash Bros for me :(

Amazon says it delivered the package to my front door and I can't find it. Been looking everywhere. Never happened to me before after hundreds of online orders over the years.

Anyone had this happen? Will they send me another one? T__T

Just set the Music Player to "Play in Sleep Mode" (the little music icon in the upper right, if I remember correctly), then close your system without pressing any buttons. ;)
 
So...I'm actually enjoying Smash Run.

At the very least, using the Equipment that gives you speed, it's really fun to run around and slowly get stronger. I hope they patch in additional options though like length adjustment, etc.

Also, just realizes the Equipment is specific to different characters which is neat. Just got a "Tie" Equipment, for instance for DK. As far as I know, there's no way to view all the Equipment you've got, is there? The only way I can see them is to go into Character Customization, which just shows theirs.

This happened to me once. Turned out it was delivered to the wrong house.

Really sucks how we just have to hope packages delivered to our doors won't be stolen.
 
Question, I just had a game with some heavy lag at parts, we eventually finished but it was kinda meh. If it lags badly enough, the game ends with a no contest, does it not?
 
Holy shit I'm in love with this game. I seriously can't put it down!


1 vs. 1 on For Glory mode is everything I've ever wanted and I'm obsessed with it <3.


I'm doing surprisingly well too! Right now my record is 17W-3L.


All you Little Macs don't stand a chance ;)

Contact Amazon and tell them. I'm not gonna guarantee they'll ship you another one, but they usually have pretty good customer service.

Edit: I just realized what you're doing. It's for sleep mode with headphones only.

Do you have headphones in? I'm listening to music right now.

No wonder some posters can't hear music lol
 
Finally got into For Glory. Went 10-2. Faced ZSS, Wii Fit Trainer, Olimar, Little Mac, Link and a Mega Man. Had some lag and some good connections. Much better than Brawl online.

It's really all about spacing and picking your pokes well. Knowing when to apply pressure and when to back off.

I just went on a two hour undefeated streak on For Glory with Mac. I LOVE this character.

Here are two of the matches I uploaded:

This first one is against a sonic player. Being able to read your opponent and bait him properly can help you set up the KO punch. Because the KO punch goes through shield you can confirm with dtilt and let it rip.

That was the issue! And a very uh, hidden one.

From the looks of things, you HAVE to have earphones/headphones plugged in. Otherwise your sound just goes.

Good Game and surprisingly I haven't really played melee competitively. Since it didn't have online there wasn't anyone to play with.

I just played Brawl's basic brawl a lot and learned some tips by fighting a player called Espy he's one of the best Sonic players in the country.

Anyway, I'll add you.
 
Does anyone have any tips or video guides for Shulk and WFT? Out of the 5 characters I was most excited to play with (Little Mac, Shulk, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and WFT), those two are the ones I'm having most trouble with.

Shulk's attacks are really slow and Shulk himself is pretty slow too. I know I should use Monado Arts, but I usually don't get the chance to before my opponent is all over me. His side smash and up smash I'm not to fond of either considering they go in a straight line and they're delayed.

With WFT...I just don't know. I don't get her/him. Aerial moves feel super short ranged and very powerless and I can't safely get back on the stage when I get thrown off. I fought a Bowser and he completely owned me off the stage.
