I can't remember, can you add the exact amount when you go to buy the game on the eShop? I don't like adding funds and having change left over.

I thought of that too and queued up Theatrhythm, but got cold feet and stopped.

Can anyone CONFIRM this method works?
 
14 years playing melee almost every week end, hopefully this will be the melee killer we've all been waiting for.

This is going to be the longest 49 minutes of my life. THE HYPE CANNOT BE CONTAINED!

As always, it has been more than an honor, a pleasure to hype with everyone. In one hour we will all be acquiring our games and playing (and downloading) the ever living CRAP outta them. Cannot wait, let's go!

Damn. I wonder why that always happens on fighting games but not on games like Mario Kart for example? MK8 has zero lag... Even tough, sometimes when I'm playing online there I see characters randomly appearing and dissapearing. Doesn't happen too frequently but still that's better than lag I guess.
 
I have to leave for college on 7 in the morning but no way I won't play the shit out of Smash on the commute there.

Hell, might even make it a game out of counting how many day 1 owers I throughout the day too.
 
Any word on the Coin that's supposed to come if you preordered from Best Buy during E3? I'm worried they won't be giving them out and that's the only reason I preordered from Best Buy. It was bad enough they changed it from giving them out to them being tied to preorders.
 
Any pics of the commemorative coin that Best Buy is giving out from pre-orders during their event from June yet? Looking forward to getting mine in a few hours!
 
I feel like it's that scene in Titanic where the musicians are all like "it's been a privilege" and such, but instead of the ship sinking its going to explode into hype.

Anyways, it's been a pleasure, SmashGAF. We've come so far.

Netcode is not the same thing across all genres.

It's not just "and the players press buttons and the game sends those buttons through the internet."

Racing games are a billion times easier to do because the game just makes predictions about what each racer will do. If they don't do it, then no big deal. That's why during a laggy race, you might see someone veer toward a cliff and then they reappear on the track like nothing happened.

You kind of can't do this in a fighting game.

if there's one thing gamestop is good at , its pre order stuff, got a feeling best buy will just hand out coins at the registers to anyone that comes with a smash brothers copy, or if they have a table the coins will be there with a rep

40 minutes left! I can't wait! Looking over the game overview on Nintendo Life, I am reminded of how much content is packed into this 3ds cartridge. It's staggering.
