Warioware FD's so stupid to me still. Like I can't tell where I'm facing half the time on it. Plus the camera zooms in during the intro, why's it gotta be zoomed out during the match?

I pre-ordered, and put my money down, and no Midnight Launch. Oh well, gotta finish up Legend Mode in Hyrule Warriors then before I pick it up tommorow.

You'd think after 4 games they would get this right and program so the game would remember your last rule settings when you turned the game off last. A minor nitpick but it does get annoying having to do it every time and it becomes an even greater issue because of that despite how small it is.

Funny thing is, atleast in the Demo, it remembers the last costume you set for each character. Why couldn't they do that for the rules...

It has to be spite. It would be trivial to implement and they consistently leave it out despite other settings not reverting.

Yeah its all good. Their insurance is taking care of it. I might be slightly stressed if there was no smash but even if not I learned to stop stressing about things that are completely out of my hands.

Guys, guys, guys. Thanks to the help from my splendiferous father, my 3DS circlepad was fixed! I can actually play now!

I still won't get the game till Saturday though :(

I know! That's the frustrating thing, they did it for the alternate colors/costumes but not rules! How could they not think about doing it for rules? Like, I didn't know I wanted the game to remember my last used color/costume until this game and yet my desire for the game remembering the last rule settings is still not met. Ughhhhh.

Maybe if people are vocal enough about it it can get patched in >_> (no, really, it is a big deal -- I want muh rules to not be timed matches every time I turn on my game).

It's definitely possible. Remember how they fixed that annoying View Replay button in Mario Kart 8?
 
Oh, I guess I should start working on getting the Miis I want.

Definitely making Dante first. What would be the best Mii Sword set for him?

By the way, has anyone experimented around with equipment? Like, can you use it to make a super-speedy Donkey Kong? Or does none of it really offer you that level of customization.
 
it's half an hour till midnight here so im like more excited but the game actually comes out at local 1AM which makes this whole thing weirdly disappointing

equipment can offer you a lot of stuff, such a speed dong.
but none of it matters because just use the +7 -40 attack badge and you'll kill fucking everything.

Yeah, but I don't know if everyone will share that same amount of sentiment as they did about the View Replay button in MK8. That issue was even mentioned in the reviews for the game -- the rules setting not being saved when you turn the game off hasn't been mentioned in any reviews (to my knowledge) and it's something to very easily overlook as a problem (hence why it's a nitpick and it's small, but for people like me who want to save time getting into a local match it's a pretty significant inconvenience...)

They are comparable issues, though. I'm more concerned about the volume of the amount of people being vocal about it -- if there's not enough volume then it won't get patched. :(

Edit: I also just realized another comparison to make between MK8 and Smash 4 is that in MK8 they also patched in the game remembering your last kart customizations. It's definitely possible for them to patch it in, it's just the likelihood that concerns me.
 
I'm playing the demo right now, and something just feels... off compared to other Smash games. It's something to do with running and attacking. Can't really explain what it is.

Is anyone else turned off by customizable moves?
 
Just deleted half of my 3DS friend list and said bye to people who haven't logged on in weeks.

I'm ready. Pit/Pittoo/Charizard main incoming.

Fucking satallite internet. Can't wait till we get outta here by November. Any way to make it go faster? It just goes fast at random it seems like. Tried turning Satallite off and all that. Maybe moving the dish?! Would it help moving the dish? Its the only thing I haven't tried!

I suffer from random D/Cs aswell and the 3DS for some reason doesn't stay connected to the internet while in sleep mode, so trying to do this via download now, where if it D/Cs once, I have to restart, ain't happening unless my internet suddenly goes fast.

...I hope you all enjoy the game. :(

I really thought I'd have fast internet for this since it always happens around the first, and I did last night at 2AM atleast but it stormed this morning and the electricity going out seems to have made it slow again. ._.

Its just so random, sometimes it goes fast for like 2-3 days at a time with no problems. And its not because of a phone like "first 2.5 GBs are high speed" since it happens twice a month. Its just so random. It works or it doesn't for no reason. It just sucks.

Sorry, just had to get some rage off. 80 minutes to go. I just hope it suddenly goes fast for no reason. Internet pls. Pls. PLS!

Edit: I must day the download speed does seem inconsistant to me. Viewing websites seems like it goes stleast 3MBs speed. But downloading anything just doesn't work.
