I've heard quite a few say that even with a good connection for fun mode just causes havoc with online. Might be due to items. No one has said anything about a 4 player match between friends yet.
 
Why is Paluntana in the E tier list in that Japanese list? I thought people where saying she was one of the better characters in the game? She seemed really strong whenever I saw people play her.

I hear 1 vs. 1 is great, but 4 players can lag a bit. I have no heard any major complaints against online though. Most I have heard/seen is local play. I will know what it is like Thursday night (maybe if people have the demo to test it out).

Probably based on the few tournament results in Japan so far?

She probably also gets better with customs on.

Why. Why do they do this to themselves? At some point did someone at Nintendo say "new 3DS" and someone else literally said it was an acceptable, decent name? I cannot imagine that scenario playing out in real life. How is that not the worst possible name.

I think its something that probably works in Japanese and other languages with few Romance or Germanic influences but yeah its awful in English or any remotely similar language. It's the sort of scenario in which I don't understand why

A) Nobody from a division of Nintendo that oversees an English speaking country didn't speak up and say "this name is awful, at least change it for the international release at a minimum!"

or

B) An executive from an English speaking subsidiary of Nintendo DID say something but the bigwigs in Japan ignored them

I think they are saying that if you took out the Nintendo characters, Smash Bros. is a pretty average game. I really do not agree though because I feel that is more like Brawl than this game. Critics are free to give whatever opinion they want. I feel the GamesRadar review is the best objective review.

Who knows. I could play Smash all day by it's fighting mechanics alone, the fanservice just makes it the best fighter ever.

Because tier lists are utterly irrelevant given the amount of data we have. We haven't even had a tournament with custom moves enabled so tier lists may as well be an IGN top 30 favorite characters list.

This is the way I feel about Marvel 3. Just the characters alone wouldn't be enough to keep me addicted 3+ years on the way I am, but the gameplay system alone might not be enough either, otherwise I'd probably be playing Skullgirls just as much. It's the combination of very strong characters and best-in-class gameplay design that really hooks me.

I learned that that phrase means nothing. They said the exact same thing when I ordered Tropical Freeze. If it does not change by Thursday night, you should cancel because it means they are not getting it until Friday.

Every game I've ordered from Amazon has shown up on launch day. I've also learned that any time that you order doesn't when it's labeled as guaranteed, you can get compensated by them.

Man, status better change soon.
 
I guess they mean bring your credit card in used to pre-order to verify it. 10 PM is probably an estimate. I mean they are staying open to 12:30, so I think they can fit everyone in if you get there 30 minutes early.
