is Unit 13 as awful as the demo lets on? I don't even think it's worth making space for on my mc
Forgive me gaf. Catching up while at work, and I came across this. I couldn't skip it, or read further without responding, so apologies for bringing up something that happened SO LONG AGO....
Unit 13 is a blast. It looks like a handheld Socom. Heck, it's even made by the same team I think. But here's what it is - A game designed FOR a handheld. MIssions can be 2 minutes, or 20, depending on what mission you are on, and how you play. There are several types of missions to play, but really you can play them all about the same way. Choosing your operative is essential at first, but once you level them up all the way you can pick you want since you unlock gear for everyone. Actually playing the game though? It's an arcade game, through and through. Enemies are practically blind and deaf, depending on where you are. The game is ALL about high scores. Every enemy has a set path, a set route, set everything. Once you learn those, you can BLAST through a level, getting some sick scores..
Co Op is defintiely fun, and features in game chat support, so be wary if you do any MP to rememebr your mic settings. And let's not forgot about the dynamic missions, where the difficulty, objectives, and length of the missions vary every time you play, completely ruining all your memorization you worked so hard to get down.
I bought it at Vita launch, and loved every minute of it. Was my second Plat for the Vita, Gravity Rush being my first. Happy people will get to it, but it's a shame that it's coming so late, and won't be able to help Zipper out...
