I'm on floor 215, can't get any higher for now. Battles are easy as hell, killing everything first round.

Disgaea recommendations: I'm eying the series on Vita and wondering which one of the three I should pick up. I've played a little of 1 and 3 before on consoles but never got the chance to fully delve into any of them. But now I'm really in the mood for something like it.

Take a solid 60fps platformer and nerf it to 30fps. Feels choppy and a lot of precision is lost. Input lag for RP is almost non-existent for me since I have a pretty good fios connection, but damn Sony needs to do something about the 30fps limit. I was just trying to do challenges while on the shitter and it was a struggle. Now I have shitty scores.

Hahaha, p3p is fine. It's better mechanically than FES, but... yeah, lots of the 'feels' are missing to me when I played it, especially the ending portion of the game. But if you haven't played FES then I guess you'll be fine, since you don't know what you're missing.
A random note: I believe I heard somewhere that the makers of the p3p itself ain't to happy with it because the PSP can't support the game the way they wanted it to be, which is identical to the PS2 version, that they need to make concessions to it (no running around, disposed off anime cutscenes, etc etc)
yeah, while I'm certainly enjoying the game, the story parts feel a bit underwhelming compared to P4G. anyway, will probably finish it by tomorrow and jump into VLR afterwards.
I don't like games in Japanese. Actually, I did say that didn't I? I love me some Vocaloid but I'll be damned if I pay more than $20 for a rhythm game that isn't P4D. And that's only cause it has Rise.
I don't like Monster Hunter clones. I don't like Musou games. I don't like Visual Novel games. Or MMO Style Single Player games. I bought Cytus Lambda and I never need to buy another Music Game ever again now.
I really don't like Japanese games do I? If it wasn't for indies it's like I'd never play my Vita.
I've had very little exposure to Vocaloids so I'm expecting this game to be interesting. Don't mind too much paying the $30 since it's cheaper than the ps3 version, don't have any rhythm games on my Vita, and it wouldn't hurt to show Sega that Vita owners will buy localized games.

Finally got uncharted to work by downloading the multiplayer, even though I won't play multiplayer. Whatever.
Now starting over, but I checked my online saves and I have a 50% complete save from when I had the retail version - if I copy that to my PS3 will that work on the PS+ version? Was surprised that it was only 3hrs of play time - is the main campaign really that short?

Yea I definitely understand but I have a used copy and would maybe do 5 for the online pass but damn 10? This game super old, didnt sell well at all, and I doubt the online community is thriving. It just sucks since I only need to play one match T_T

so glad I didn't get Legends on Vita. These 8 bit levels would have resulted in a broken Vita most likely. The last one... on Vita does it really divide into all those tiny screens?

Between PS+ games, games I already have that I haven't finished, and the games coming out in the next few months, I could probably game for a few years on just my Vita alone and feel pretty good.
Doesn't even include Vita games that are already out that I'm interested in but haven't bought yet for whatever reason. It's like this thing has become a backlog machine in 2014. My only regret is not getting two years of PS+ on Black Friday

I bought Injustice since it's on sale, but dang... Tutorial for combos is irritating me... I either hit the buttons too fast or too slow, and it seems less like it uses flowing combos like other fighting games (where you watch for hits as you enter commands), and feels more like you telegraph the combos before anything happens... Shit is annoying. If pressing a bunch of buttons equals one command, why not just map each individual command to combinations of buttons held at the same time rather than pressed in a line before anything happens? Ugh. Fighting games are such a mixed bag. Some are fun and make sense- others don't do either. So irritating. Maybe instead of just showing the button combinations, it should show them with some sort of timing sequence akin to rhythm games in the tutorial section...

The developers have a nice CV, I guess. Do we have some art from that Kei Watanabe guy? I was looking for some nice Sky Gunners pics but it looks like the characters are chibi.
There is a 8 bit level when you just don't see anything. Pure trial an error, it's more about memorizing things and not about skill. I don't really liked the latters tbh, but the idea was cool

It might just be me. Can't say as I'm that bothered, I've got far more games than I have time to play games. For some reason I got sidetracked playing Valhalla Knights 3 for hours and my backlog is creaking at the seams. It's not even a good game!

Not that I'm interested in a PS3 game that the PS4 demo does enough for me to let me play with a friend to begin with.
Having spent most of 2013 on the 3DS, I'd have to agree with this for 2014. I'm already getting stuck into Ys and Toukiden and looking forward to a good half a dozen Vita titles in the next new months, where as the first games I'll buy for the 3DS this year are Shovel Knight and PW vs Layton at the end of March.

I feel ya. I'm only missing the co-op trophy for Uncharted 3 to get the plat, but I refuse to pay $5.99 for the co-op unlock. (Got Uncharted 3 from PS+)
Yeah, that save will work just fine.
My first run was ~10 hours, and that included getting every trophy except the one for crushing since that takes a second run. 50% in 3 hours sounds about right if you didn't farm kill trophies and hunt for treasures, I guess.
Why shouldn't the PS3 version be more expensive? It actually is a new game compared to the updated roster bullshit the Vita got for two years.
Also the prices already differ non discounted.

It's a really engaging game, bit of a mixture of 999/VLR and Ace Attorney. I love the main parts, the freetime and not least: the investigations. Funny characters, most so: the antagonist.
That being said I'm not the biggest of fan of the trial sections, where they mix in rhytm game elements and all kinds of crazy whack. Just let me present my case withouth having to shoot down flying lines of text all over the place, playing hangman games and rhytm stuff, argh.

A few sneak peeks of new monsters, moves and black rites shown off in that vid. Nice to see another Leviathan type of stage.
Curious about the guy with the wolverine claws, and the black winged black right.
Since it doesn't seem like we're getting Delta in the west any time soon, I at least hope we get monsters and moves from this game in Soul Sacrifice 2 (even if it has to be dlc).
