PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4/PSP) | February 2014

So I bought EDF before the sale ended. I like that the game is native res and looks ok.

But the game whose main purpose is to shoot large bugs disappointed me greatly with its terrible shooting mechanics. Also the sound effects for guns are bad and can barely be heard over BGM. Then there are the Ants animations that are really really bad. Greatly disappointed.

lol.

The joy in playing the game is the bugs themselves.

*pun not intended.*

The game is like a cheesy B movie. If you don't like low quality animations, horrible voice acting, and the simple but fun mechanics, then I guess it isn't for you. I love the game, I think the fact that parts are really crappy adds to the charm and is in line with its "budget game" or "b movie" theme. The fact that the animations are so shitty and the really bad writing makes the game hilarious. It's not supposed to be serious.

The cheesy, low-budget feel of the game is part of the appeal. The game gets better after you beat the game with Storm 1 and unlock Pale Wing.

Sorcery Saga is today? :O
Lol at "not available in Germany", too cute for them.

Anyway i'll go on mission to find retail Daganronpa, if the mission will be a failure i'll buy it digital together with Sorcery Saga.

And some missions you spend lots of time going from point A to B instead of shooting bugs, loading times are HUGE and more frequent than I expect in a non demanding portable game, and no one seems to play the earlier missions online. I could never find people to play with.

Definitely the most disappointing game VitaGAF has hyped for me, total waste of money. All the other hyped games were well worth it, though (Tearaway, God Eater, Guacamelee, Spelunky).

EDIT: I don't mind the low quality of animations and b movie feel, but controls are a bit convoluted and aiming is slow. The roll is a bit random too; you never know if you'll roll or jump. It's like the controls want to make playing the game more difficult, if you know what I mean.

The jump/roll button will jump if standing still or going forward or straight backwards (I think). If moving to the side it will roll. You can roll forward by changing the camera angle and then rolling to the side in the direction you want to go. Once you get the hang of it, it works pretty well.
One of the control schemes on Vita is crap though, I think I stuck with the advanced one, which is more like how it was on Xbox 360.

If you were using the default controls, try switching to advanced. Then you have normal 3rd person shooter controls (right stick aims, left stick moves)

I've been holding out on Muramasa Rebirth for a while since I still have my Wii copy, but I finally jumped the gun.

Looks waaaaaaaayyyy better than the Wii version, but a part of me still wants to play this on the TV.

Excited for Towerfall.

EDIT: Oh wait, it's not online..... nevermind.

Cause some people like having easy access to imports.

Yeah, but there's a localized version of this game. They should have waited until they had all the issues settled instead of releasing a game most people will not be able to complete.

Has there been any clarification regarding multiple accounts on one PS4?
If my brother (who visits me now and then) wants to add his accounts (US & EU) to my PS4 will I be able to play his games on my account or are they locked to his?
Is it two or three licenses for PS4 nowadays?

Thinking of also maybe buying a second PS4 to keep at my mothers place.

You'll have to make the system that account's primary system, then you'll have access to any content on any account. If not, you'll only be able to the content on the account that owns it.

The placeholder date was this week! Haha. No, I'm glad to hear this, right before my brother's Birthday, and he's always been a Ragnarok head since we played the MMO years ago.

So being able to cross-play between the Vita and PS3 is a great thing for us :)

Seems like a sizable update, and good refinements to the game. I really enjoy the bright Gamearts-ish world the game has, and the nods back to Rag.Online...

I think I had already done the changes, but I might download it again and give it another shot. Thank you.

The problem are the diagonals; it seems walking speed and/or character positioning change how much you have to angle sideways to be able to roll instead of jump. If the reference was simply where the camera is pointing it would be easier to understand what it is going to happen. I still believe that using the same button for both is stupid.

I might be being too picky; I've always been too picky, and I got EDF when I started playing Soul Sacrifice, which controls wonderfully.

PS4 works more or less the Xbox way, there is no longer a concept of a fixed number of authorizations. You can have only one primary system that will have unrestricted access to that account's content, but you can also use that content on an unlimited amount of other systems, as long as you are currently logged in to your account on those systems.

If you own two (or more) PS4s, you will have to decide on which one will be the primary system for your account, and make sure you have an Internet connection on all of the others.

^ Really can't wait for Botmode dlc either, will get way more play from me. Should be about a month off I think? Hopefully.

Playing 5 matches of mp so far hoping to get a glimpse of the new maps. Lost every round but still so fun!

Has anyone tried the new Abstraction Games game Gunslugs yet?, looks quite interesting, but reviews are saying it's quite difficult.
If its Hotline Miami level difficult, don't think I will bother, I had to give up on the game, got so hard I wasn't enjoying it.

Happy to hear more EDF hate. Honestly thought I was alone.

Picked it up but haven't had a chance to play it (or Runner2) yet.

Some more detail of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was feature on the weekly Jump magazine. I'm honestly excited to see how it will turns out, hope see more info though.

Is the store undergoing maintenance?

Unable to load it up from my PS4. (NA user)

dangdanropa or p4

go!

No idea I just want the demo, I still have to decide if I get the game on PS4 or PC XD.
I don't want to connect the US account with the PS4 because I just want to use one account (possible HDD micro partitions or waste of space disk) at least by now.

There is a PS4 demo on the UK PSN now. Wasn't earlier.

Is dream club any good?
