PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4/PSP) | February 2014

I need Vitagaff to help me! can you tell me when i will get my $3 from that Playstation Play promotion? i bought Dustforce and Olli Olli at the time they where released.

Thanks! now i know i didnt miss anything , but i could bought TxK too. Still im gonna buy it later. Dragon Ball Z is too expensive for me , for that money i prefer Danganronpa.

You still have a few hours to buy TxK, and with the Plus discount plus the extra $3 you'll get back you're pretty much paying $5 for it.

Couldn't care less about hackers.

Firmware is stable at the moment anyway.

What I want to change is the PSN store. It takes so damn long to load.

Other than that, I do have a few problems with my Vita but I'm not sure if it's a firmware thing. Sometimes when my Vita is charging and I put it in standby mode, the next time I open it up, it can't register the my touch so I'm left with powering down the device.

I thought JPSN was supposed to be up on PS4? When I tried going to the store, a message popped up that it was inaccessible due my country/region. Please tell me this is just PSN still undergoing maintenance/not being up yet and that Sony isn't locking out the store. :|

I don't have my PS4 with me right now, but I was able to connect to the JPSN store when I tried on Sunday night.

I bought Megamix, should I be sad?

Honestly, I miss the stability updates from Sony. Maybe they are cooking something big for the Vita?

Who knows. They're as mysterious as the Vita 1000's extra port.
I believe they're link cables. xD

If they can get rid of some nuances while transferring files to the computer such as the content manager and replace it with a more traditional transfer system, It'll be great.

Who else is thinking about grabbing Rayman Legends PS4 tonight? I'm not expecting the port to be anything that new or exciting, but I never had a chance to buy it on PS3, so why not? I loved Origins and what I have played of Legends.

I wonder if the improved texture quality will be noticeable.

Definitely play it on a PS4 instead of the Vita. As much as some people here love their Vita's and Rayman, the touch based missions saddens them.

Finished Left Behind last night. Story was nice, but combat encounters left something to be desired.

On a different note, is TxK really as good as everyone says? The hype(and price) is making it really tempting, but when I watched gameplay it didn't really strike me as something I had to play, not that it looks bad, so what makes it so good? I should also mention that I have never played Tempest or any of Minter's other games.

TxK is a simple and fun score attack game. With 3 minutes you learn all the basics and go directly for the high score or leaderboards. Just like Super Stardust, they have the "one more time" thing going. No fluff, no unlockables, no perks, only skill and luck. Soundtrack is very good as well. My favourite score attack game since the original SSD.

It is a fun arcade game with good music. The kind of game which, given the right conditions, you zone out when playing. The gameplay is basically just moving around and shooting polygons with some extra gameplay elements. Whether you like the game I think depends on how much you like to chase high scores i think

Thanks for the replies, it's a bit hit and miss for me with score attack games, Super Stardust didn't really grab me, but I'm loving Resogun. I think I'll give TxK a try

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/02/18/psychedelic-shoot-em-futuridium-ep-deluxe-coming-ps-vita/

We started working on Futuridium as a side project with the idea of paying homage to the retro classic Uridium, a 2D top-down shoot’ em up by Andrew Braybrook, one of our favourite Commodore 64 game from the ’80s, with a total reinvention aimed to mix its fast paced action and the unique feeling of flying back and forth on enormous space dreadnoughts with full 3D gameplay and a retro, flat shaded look with tons of glitchy graphic effects.

Looks trippy!

Just a reminder that Tomba 2 releasing this week on US PSN is the Japanese ver. of the game
What difference does this make, really? Did it need heavy localization? And why wasn't the domestic version the one they planned for release on the network?

Maybe Im over reading things thanks to a comment on the link I'm providing but is InFamous Vita going to be announced this year? First off, this look like Delsin is playing a PS Vita. And then I remembered that slip up by Nate(Second Son) regarding a vita InFamous version, seen here and having followed most of the latest InFamous Second Son screens, the place and his position in the Official PS4 Sharing Commercial seems new.

I could be wrong and this is just a snippet from a remote play vita ad for InFamous SS :I

yes, it's been heavily rumored now... even our own vita insider mentioned it maybe 6? months ago. Definitely expecting it, whether it's released this year or next. I think it is happening.

Also, if I can get one..... Tomba 1 or Tomba 2....never played either.

I'd love an infamous Vita. I really love both of them, but suggest starting with 1 and working your way towards Tomba 2 afterwards.

I don't see how some of these quests are going to be solved without using some kind of guide.
Pretty dumb the localized version wasn't used.

Update says picture quality improvement for DVD playback lol. Added support for certain wireless headsets, stability improvements, and something else I forgot already

I'll get a Ps4 to kill time before the new pc cpus come out when I get paid or next hopefully. Would have got one a lot sooner if they didn't shut down Studio Liverpool.

I'm starting to regret buying TEARAWAY. Despite buying it, playing it and loving it; months ago, I am constantly haunted by the avatars failing to download on my Vita.

I don't have a PS3, and can't stop my Vita from trying to download them every-night and failing. I'm starting to get a bit OCD over it. Sure I can ignore it, but ideally I just want it to stop.

Any ideas or solution VitaGAF?

I tried adding then removing the avatars on the SEN store (website) but that didn't work either.
