Worse part about this is no one stands up for other honest folk anymore. There have been at least 3 occasions where I've stood up for a person in public and shamed an individual for being pieces of shit towards someone else (one got a little physical even) and practically got a standing ovation from folks around us.
Sadly most people have that passers-by syndrome with most taking out their damn cellphones (case in point here lol) to film. Unfortunate.

Yeah, kinda sad how no one defended the lady (I think, not sure) but everyone will destroy the guy online.

The guy who filmed it and submitted the footage to the news said that he couldn't get involved in the confrontation because if it escalated he could risk getting deported.

I'll see people get worked up about someone not offering their seat to them because they need to sit down, or something along those lines, but I've never seen physical assault come from that. The guy took it too far.

edit: upon further inspection it seems like the only nondouche thing is the fact that hes wearing headphones. but i think thats because if he were to use his phones speakers the amount of douche would be so much that he would collapse in on himself creating a douche hole that would swallow up all shitty hats and ugly shirts in a five mile radius

Honestly, girl should have just walked away once he said "no, my bag is there". It's not worth getting hurt trying to dealing with mentally/emotionally unbalanced strangers.

Unfortunately, it's situations like this that can turn the bad guy into the victim. Personally, I'd stay out of it (getting physical about it).
So they're arguing over a spot to sit in, and a bag..Big deal...Leprechaun crosses the line and commits assault...Great..Get a cop and end this..But if you step in and "teach him some manners", what are you gonna do? Punch him? Knock him unconscious? Break his computer?
You know what I mean..Pretty soon, you're looking at getting a lawyer to cover your own ass over destruction of property and assault...And yes...this is how our justice system works (at least in the US)...doesn't matter whether you claim you were provoked or she had her foot stepped on...They'll claim it's excessive and win or lose you got a record, plus the cost of a lawyer. So yeah, considering the nature of this incident, staying out of it, other than calling the cops, is probably the best idea.
