It happened while handcuffed in the backseat of an Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office patrol car, during a drug arrest. According to State Police, who are handling the investigation, once at the jail, White refused to exit the vehicle. As the arresting deputy requested assistance, they say white produced a handgun he had been hiding in his pants, and shot himself in the back.

But the autopsy, performed by the Iberia Parish Coroner's Office, reports the opposite, listing the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest. The family is puzzled as to how he could have shot himself in the chest with his hands cuffed behind his back.

"My initial response was correct, that something was awry, and that something had gone wrong,” said White, Sr.

The manner of death was ruled a suicide. But, the family of White aren't convinced.

hands up
don't shoot if old.

Still ruled a suicide though? smh

We need a name for the "shoot yourself in front from behind" move. Then we can do battle like Pokemon.

The idea that this guy had a gun in the back of his pants and the cops didn't notice it when handcuffing / patting him down is pretty absurd. Forget the part about him being handcuffed and shooting himself in the chest after that cops said he shot himself in the back.

Its possible. Theres already a gif floating around showing how its done. We have went through this with the last time it happened.

edit: heres a video showing how to shoot yourself in the head. Just adjust accordingly.

Perhaps possible for a flexible person . . . I certainly couldn't do it. I just tried.

Give a it try for yourself. Some probably can and some can't. I can't even come close to what is in that image. I'm sure Cirque Du Soleil people can do it though.

Cops have one story: he shot himself in the back. Autopsy tells us this is a lie. Still ruled a suicide. No further investigation. :-/

How exactly do you adjust from your head to a straight on shot to your chest?
Where does it say straight on shot to the chest? After seeing that video I guess it's possible... But cops are pretty thorough with pat downs.... I'd like to know the size of the gun. And why would they lie? Maybe they just assumed he shot himself in the back when they heard a gunshot and saw a dead handcuffed guy in the backseat?

Cops get away with everything.

If it went through his chest and his back, it couldn't have been a glancing shot.

You have to pull your non gun hand into position as though it would be pulled if you were cuffed. You're probably trying to just use your muscles in that arm without physically just pulling it into position with your other arm.

Two things.

You could get a straight on shot if you were flexible enough.

The article doesn't mention an exit wound. Seems like a good assumption tho, since the cops mistaking it for a shot to the back would then make more sense.

I just thought of something that is leading me on the side of the cops. Why would they say he was shot in the back if they indeed shot him In the chest. They knew the autopsy would show something else? Seems like a really dumb lie to tell.

This thing is fishy as hell, but I'm fairly certain I could do this. Back to front especially. My joints have more mobility than average people.

If you can fabricate or destroy evidence... Or evidence doesn't really matter at all because your entire institution is corrupt, then why would it even matter?

Yeah, I get that. But evidence does matter. They know this. That's why they fabricate and destroy it. Shooting some1 in the chest and then saying they shot themselves in the back just doesn't seem like the logical thing to do if you want to sweep this under the rug.

Pretty close. He was a black dude. We all have those extra twitch muscle fibers that allow us to perform amazing feats like jumping high, running fast, shooting ourselves in the chests while cuffed behind the back, etc. We're real world super heroes basically.

It was still ruled a suicide regardless of the discrepancy. Sounds like it was successfully swept under the rug.

How many times I gotta tell y'all to stop posting about all our powers?

Dude they know. They've known for a long time now. You think the Tuskegee experiments were done on us just because we black? They were taking advantage of our negro healing factor.

Don't forget the classic being shot in the back while advancing threateningly towards the shooter. And making anything, including nothing, look like a gun (hence the threatening part I guess).

You guys have it good, I really can't see what the complaints are all about.

Yeah, but sometimes people forget. I mean, Spidey has a healing factor, but people forget cause people don't bring it up all the time. Granted with Usain out there flaunting it's a little harder, but still...

My bad. You're right. It's just hard to have this much power and not let it go to your head. Other day I looked at this guy in the eyes as I passed him on the side walk. Dude literally jumped in front of a bus. I snagged him by the collar and pulled him back on the sidewalk before it hit him, but damn I didn't realize the power of my dehumanising gaze. Dude had lost all will to live and I wasn't even trying to hurt him.
