Saw this and thought it was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. The way the little bro smiled at her and her soft pats on his head were precious.

But yes her sentiments is felt everywhere universally. We all don't want to get old and lose that adorable cuteness, including herself.

I really appreciate her intelligence in this video, it doesn't take much for a 5 year old to understand that we all get old and such.

I really needed something uplifting.. but c'mon little girl... pull yourself together!

Baby's adorable though.

Adorable. Especially when the camera moves over and he's sitting smiling away at her.

Stupid/ terrible parents brainwashing their daughter into Disney Princess consumerist culture where she'll grow up to be subservient to males and worship royalty. I cannot comprehend why this always happens in America and not my country.

I tried to get my daughter into Cannibal Corpse, but somehow she gravitated to Frozen.

Not my fault, man.

That was adorable lol. Especially the little baby just smiling at his sister.

Man, my little brother was such a little cutie face when he was a kid. Then he entered middle school and now hes an annoying teenage shit head. Sigh, they grow up so fast :(

If you cannot get your child to hate what they love and fit into some arbitrary, obtuse idea of a better alternative then you've simply failed at being a parent. No wonder the US obesity rates are so high and you have school shootings and lack universal health care.

I know. My little brother was adorable then too.

Really not a fan of the 'parental setup' feel of this video.

Kinda cute, interesting sentiment, but I can almost hear the parents muttering "YES VIRAL INTERNET GOLD. PAN TO THE CUTE ONE THAT CAN'T BE PROMPTED YET."

Wow, that got little dark towards the end.

And that pan to the smiling brother while she's crying about being 100 was hilarious.

Yeah, I was wondering -- where did that part come from? Did the parents just have a conversation about growing up in general and punctuated that with a mention of death?

I'm guessing that someone (or a pet) died at some point in the recent past, and the parents explained a little about dying. The daughter probably said something like, "Am I going to die, too?"

In response, the parents probably said something like "Oh, honey, you're going to live a long time. You'll probably live to be a hundred!" -- not thinking that the girl was hearing "Yes. You're going to die when you're a hundred!"

Five is too young to be thinking about death.

My son asks me all the time about my dad, weekly probably. I'm not going to lie so I tell him the truth, he ate too much bad food didn't exercise enough. My son of course now gets on me when I eat any bad food because he doesn't want me to die, I of course tell him I'll be around for a really long time but it is pretty difficult when they get to the deeper questions.

I wonder if she already understands the concept of death, like, really. Apparently the realisation of what death is is one of the more traumatic developmental experiences for children - it usually comes to a head around the first death of a relative, like a grandparent. The other big 'trauma' is the realisation that they're just one of many, that the world doesn't revolve around them etc, around the time of the 'terrible twos'.

So, not to take away from the cuteness, but there might be a bit of real trauma going on there :/

I honestly don't remember that ever being an issue at all when I was growing up.

I grew up in the midst of comet impact movies, I vividly remember bawling my tears out when someone told me Nostradamus had predicted the end of the world by comet impact for the year 2000. I was so fucking sure I was going to die, everyone I loved was going to die and the planet would be a wasteland. I love the Simpsons, except for that one episode where a comet is going to hit Springfield, that moment that they start singing Que Sera Sera instantly transports me back to that feeling of impending death. I cried my eyes out the first time I saw that episode and didn't even see the ending because I thought they'd all die. I ended up singing that song a lot hoping no comet would obliterate all of us.

I just love it when the little brother was just smiling at her. But yeah I share her mind set my little brother was so cuuuuuute when he was a baby.
