As a reminder, a new Belmont has been revealed today, Victor Belmont

If the name rings a bell, well, it does, it was the protagonist of the cancelled Castlevania Resurrection for the Sega Dreamcast.

very nice interior design, but can't help to notice that the texture resolutions are not that consistent as in the first game, is this the 360 version? looks like a trade for the bigger scale.

Very sweet trailer. But, uh, at 5:32: did the boy just
say, "Father"? o_O

I'm glad the Focus system is intact. That was one of my favourite things from the combat system of the first game. I'm digging Gabriel's new dodge animation too. I remember the dodge wasn't fully invincible in the first game, so I hope it is more reliable in this one.

That looked fucking awesome. First one was one of my fav games of the gen too. Wish it had a PS4 version, but I'll still be there on day 1.

This looks amazing! I really wonder
what's up with kid Trevor's presence, though... I don't think he ever met Gabe until he fought him. An illusion of the castle, maybe?

Huh, that does look better(dodging and new camera system in particular). Hopefully this is a Darksiders 2 situation, combat wise(not level design, tho).

Lets go with yeah?
Maybe Gabe is torturing himself?

I'm really looking forward to the threat the brotherhood will serve in the game. I want crazy human opposition! Err Belmonts withstanding

Wow, a trailer that says, in no uncertain terms, 'combat requires skill' and 'button-mashing will get you nowhere'. It's almost like this is a proper damn video game. What year is it again?

It looks really great, and I love that it actually encourages you to never get hit. The paradigm of only being able to refill your health by playing skilfully enough to 'unlock' the health-eating sword for use is something I really like (similar to the way the Batman games lock the special moves away behind combo multiplier levels).

Looks nice but enemies seem to be a 'sword' sponge, unless I am missing something he fought the same 2 guys for like 5 minutes

I said it once and I'll say it again.

they don't want to release LoS 2 during the fall release because it'll get lost in all dat shuffle.

Game is as beautiful as the first as far as art goes. The way the first ended had me wanting more so I can't wait to see how this goes. Hopefully combat and ai is improved because the first game was really easy but because you really could only do like 2-3 hit combos before having to dodge everytime. Also please, no more shadow of the collossus boss fight, there's nothing fun about climbing slowly up a boss or across.
