Spoiler-Free Sony Gamescom Conference Thread [Greatness Awaits...on your own time]

Someone asked for it, so I'm making it. With Sony streaming their press conference from Gamescom tomorrow afternoon, I'm sure there will be plenty of people who will be stuck at work or school, or even sleeping while this is going on, so fret not. If you don't want to be spoiled of what's announced beforehand, this topic is for you.

BOOKMARK this post. Once the conference is done, I'll post archived stream links once in this very same post they become available.

hopefully GAF doesn't crash like at E3...if it does, then it must mean that Sony has announced that PS4 has already been released and the Gaming community is having a melt down (all the while I am reviewing for a Physics Final)..One can dream, can't he?

Cerny is well spoken and has a pleasant voice. He's someone you could listen to and really relax. Hence the tubs.

So people who want to watch conferences without knowing all the reveals beforehand have easy access to archived streams. For me, it's more enjoyable to actually watch the announcements rather than read about them in other threads, so I'd rather avoid "spoilers" and watch the conference first.

Hello.

My internet blows. I was able to watch E3 live trough twitch.tv , but I had to view it in 240p in order to not get any lag.

I would like to do the same for Gamescom, but I'm not sure if there will be a stream that gives an option for 240p. What do you guys think? Because Gamescom will be at 10 a.m. here (PST) , so I could wake up since it isn't very early, but if i know there won't be a 240p stream, then I will just sleep in on my last day of summer break and watch the video at around 12 when I wake up. (btw, do you guys think I'll be able to view the entire sony conference at around 11 or 12? )

What do you guys think?

I don't know about the Twitch stream, but I know for sure the gametrailers stream will have variable quality.

The GT players drives me crazy as I have no idea how to make it stick to a lower video quality (360p). It keeps fluctuating between HD and others which causes a lot of stuttering >.>
 
This is perfect, thank you. I work graveyard shift, and I will be sleeping during the stream. I was going to stay up for the stream, but now I won't have to!
 
Subscribed. Not getting home from work until about 7PM this evening and this will be the first major western press conference I've missed live for years.
