Alright hear me out - a lot of us have experienced apartment life. Noisy neighbors, bullshit like that. I'm not here to talk about that problem, because I don't have it. My problem is...weirder.
I live in a 3 story apartment, with 2 apartments on the north and south on each floor - making 12 different apartments in one building. I'm on the third floor, on the north side (not that it matters) - and with the exception of one guy (I've been here 2+ years) I've NEVER met or SEEN my neighbors.
When I first moved in, I saw people come and go - move in, move out in 6 months or even less, etc. It wasn't until about 2 weeks ago I realized nobody appears to live here except one person and me and my roommate.
We have a dog, I take her out pretty often - and I only see one dude in the apartment building. Big shits, right? Well, this one dude, I've seen going in and out of multiple other apartments in the building. It's like there's NOBODY else living in my apartment building except this guy, and he apparently rents all the rest of them? I honestly don't know. That wouldn't make any SENSE. And I am absolutely sure it is the same guy. I've never spoken with him, but I've seen him coming and going all the time, everywhere else.
We all have visible balconies - all of them, save mine, is empty. We all have a window leading to one bedroom that's easy to get to, next to the door - and my roommate sleeps there. The dog went nuts at about 3am last night, and she goes nuts when people are around. So someone was right outside of her window.
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being running for the hills, how freaked out should I be? I'm going to casually ask the apartment office if the same person is renting the rest of the entire building or what. I'm tempted to do nothing, but it's too freaky at this point and I have to know the truth. I know most people would KILL for a silent apartment building - but I hope this dude doesn't.
EDIT:
The short answer? Den of swingers, but the guy renting them is in charge of the apartments and apparently the swingers in his club think he's too creepy and don't want to go to a fuck building.
