Holding your piss, so it feels better afterwards

Anyone else do this?

It's not like I purposely hold it for some euphoric high.

We've all been busy and then came along that urge to piss. You keep working on what you're doing. Just a minute longer then I'll go. What can only be described as the big-bang going off in your bladder. You finally bum-rush to the restroom, releasing the Kraken.

So here's the problem. There's times where I could clearly stop what I'm doing but don't. Maybe in my masochistic mind I enjoy all this. Is this normal?

I don't hold my piss by choice, as it usually hits me when I'm stuck on Bart going to/from work or when driving.

Holding it in totally sucks when you're stuck.
 
Weird, a topic about holding piss in. It's 01:50am and i just had to clean up my dogs piss off the kitchen floor because he cant hold it in, he was out having a piss half an hour ago. He pissed on the floor then slipped in it mutiple times, covering himself in piss and using his long coat to essentially mop the floor with piss. What little he didn't cover in piss, he covered in pissy footprints.

A few weeks ago was the closest I've ever been to pissing my pants as an adult. We were stuck at the longest red light ever and I swear going over the speed bump in the parking lot I almost lost it. Bolted into the Barnes & Noble and unleashed that stream.

Holy shit. Best moment ever.

I'm not complaining about lack of options. I know as a male I've got it good but there's something about that release when you've been holding that shit in for a while.

As a matter of fact I'd expect guys to understand that feeling of holding it and releasing more than females.

Next time Timedog is about bust a nut, tell him to hold it for a few hours, you're not ready. This should give you a good idea about what I'm talking about.
 
Don't know if this would be healthy as it may place pressure on some part of the urinary system.

But I don't do it myself, atleast not when I don't have to.
 
I like the "video game piss" where youve been playing video games for so long that you either a: dont realise you have to piss or b: you realise you have to piss, but youre enjoying the game too much and you can sufficiently distract yourself for a while. Getting up to pee in the middle of a gaming session is the worst. Theres nothing like letting it all flow once youre done, like the cherry on top of a cake.
 
I sometimes do this for sleep. When you stay up for 30+ hours the moment your head hits that pillow it's the best feeling ever. Occasionally I'll stay up on purpose partly to get stuff done but also to have that feeling once you lay down.

I think this all started from back in the day. You had to clear that level and pressing pause wasn't an option.

Now we're all grown up and we've transitioned from one point to another. At work, gotta finish project. Need to pee....it can wait, project is almost finished.
 
Freud would have a lot to say about a few of you guys in here...something about unresolved conflicts at a certain age in childhood.

I had an experience like this a few months ago. I think it temporarily broke something in my body, because when I was out for a walk later that night, I all of a sudden had to pee and could not hold it this time, at all. Like, it came out of nowhere. Luckily it was dark out and I was in a quiet area, so I literally had to sprint to a nearby alley and unload. I honestly would have wet my pants if I had to wait another minute.

MD/DO gaf, is it true that this practice can actually strain the muscles over time and leave you losing control of your flow as you get older?
 
I had to piss during most of Argo the other evening and it was quite distracting. Can't deny that it felt good to let it out afterward, though.
 
One time when I was at a concert I held my piss as long as I possibly could because I was hugging the rail and didn't want to leave. Eventually I had no choice but to run to the bathroom and piss, and when I opened the gates it actually fucking hurt. You, my friend, are straddling a dangerous line.

he was showing off his bathrooms, specifically his wall of urinals, and explained this exact phenomena

I used to do this a lot when I was a kid. Those little shivers you get when you have to go really bad...yeah those felt good for some reason.
