Monster Hunter 3G HD Ver. will launch with the WiiU on December 8th. Features include full 1080p display, 5.1 LPCM surround sound, a WiiU pad display based on the 3DS display, and internet multiplay. Local play works with up to three 3DSes, and a free eShop app will handle moving save data between the two.

I don't think the 360 has any native 1080P games but the PS3 has a few PSN games that are. WipEout HD is one of them.

The idea of there being a standard resolution AT ALL is a forum fantasy. Systems can output at one level, but games will continue to vary.

Virtua Tennis 3 on PS3 was native 1920x1080p60fps iirc same goes with Ridge Racer 7 on PS3.

Both were retail games.

GoW Origins Collection did it. It helped that it is currently the only HD collection done by the original developers of those titles.

the 3DS version runs at 45fps - i'm not sure what the implications are if you have someone playing on the 3DS with someone on the Wii U if there's a 15fps frame rate differens. Probably nothing simply because it's rendering based on transfered location data etc ... ?

Poking around the internet it looks like there are many more 1080P PS3 games than I realized, even a handfull of 360 games as well.

Does the Wii U version use the Wii assets (I thought the Wii version was higher poly) or is it just a straight 3DS port?
