So I'm not big in to comics but I know who Liefeld is and I know all of his art that I've seen is fucking terrible.
Do people deciding who does what not realize it's awful? Do they not care? Am I only seeing the really bad stuff and he's actually really fucking good within the comics themselves?
Or is this some sort of giant troll? A play for name recognition, perhaps? Or he's been in the industry so long that he has friends or people that think he deserves the projects because of seniority?

I can't believe I used to love this guy. Such is the folly of youth.
He is a relatively nice guy and he sticks to schedule, both qualities that can put you ahead of more talented people in comics.

Liefeld's a nice guy, he's been putting the effort in recently to keep to schedule and it looks like he's being rewarded for it.
Good on him
His art is bad, but in an enjoyable way, and it usually fits the books he works on. It's not like he's fucking with some indie darling comic, it's fucking Deathstroke.

That deathstroke picture is horrendous. It's crazy that after 20-whatever years he's been doing this professionally that he hasn't gotten even a little better.

Funny thing is, all it needs to fix it is to simply improve one line (the right side, beneath the right breast).
At least he have normal looking feet

If you smell burning, it's probably the generators acting up. Report it anyway.
What gets me most about this isn't so much the size of the chest but the angle of it - you can see he is trying to make the star as visible as possible but it shouldn't be from that portrait angle, skewing the proportions further. It is really amateurish, even a child could point this out

What's his work ethic like? Is he a good dude? How much indie work does he do? Can he do more than muscle dudes in spandex?
Marvel didn't drum out Chris Claremont.
Chris Claremont created some of the best comics ever and really shouldn't be compared to Rob Liefeld.
And Liefeld never stays on books for very long. So you can be grumpy comic book fan, or be patient.
