It's my pleasure entirely. Here's some info on how the game has been received.
It's gotten four reviews on Metacritic, all positive.

I'll second this, been playing Slime-San today on Switch and it's just superb. Hooked me straight away like Super Meat Boy did. Seems to be plenty of content in the game, and the town area is a great addition with plenty to buy/unlock.
Best thing i can say is that the controls feel perfect and speed running is fantastic. Haven't felt this way about intuitive controls and levels just made for blitzing through since Rayman Origins, which imo has masterful level design for speed running purposes.
Don't sleep on this one guys, it's sub(s)lime!
Don't know how long the game is but here's a rundown of content i know so far.
There are 100 levels each with 4 screens each, so you could say 400 screens. Each screen has an apple to collect, each level has a speed run trophy. There are also boss levels.
There is a large hub town to look around and spend the currency buying cosmetic items (I'm sporting Donald trump style "Presidential Hair" atm) as well where you unlock new playable characters, screen filters, multiplayer arcade games etc
Once you complete the game the ng+ mode remixes the 100 levels creating 400 more screens for you to play through.
There are also other dedicated modes such as one death mode. Can't remember the other 3.
All in all, there is a shit load of content and that's before the Kraken DLC gets patched in for free![]()
This has been on my Steam wishlist for a while now. It looks fun -- I'll probably pick it up soon. Thanks for the OT!
Edit: buying now on Switch!
Assuming this is by the same or similar team as SMB? Am I right in that assumption?

For sure! 100 levels and, once beaten, another 100 NG+ levels. 5 bosses, 10 target mode challenges, 3 mini-games and collectables to buy cosmetics, gameplay modifiers and more in a large hub city. Also got a trophy system for speed runners and extra game modes.
I'd say a normal playthrough lasts 15-20 hours and a completionist run 25 to 35 hours.
This looks super fun. Love the art style and being hand crafted levels vs procedural generated stuff is refreshing.
Really enjoyed what I had played of the PC version, even though the constantly pulsating background takes a bit getting used to.
It's the trophy icon.![]()
So that little ? icon, does that mean there is something in the stage that I missed? Also, where are the ranking leaderboards?
Fabraz is pretty prominent in the NYC indie scene and they're cool dudes. I remember nerding out with one of the devs about how good Downwell is.
Glad this is coming out on Switch, it's the perfect platform for it so I'll probably pick it up.

Doesn't the ? icon represent a hidden coin?
The trophy icon is the one next to your time.

What's the price of entry?
Also I see PS/XB is "tba". Are those platforms confirmed to be happening or just speculation?
For anyone that's played both, how does this compare to N++? Or is it more comparable to Super Meatboy?

Loving it so far - keep spending my apples on screen filters.
Retro and Virtual Boy filters are great. I actually prefer the retro one to no filter.
Don't know what's up with the LCD filter - makes the game look like garbage, and doesn't look anything like an LCD screen. It looks like there might be something wrong with it actually? (Playing in Switch mode btw)
Loving, loving, loving the game so far! I'd been waiting for a good pure platformer on the Switch and this is scratching that itch really well.
That's because it's not an LCD filter but an LED filter. It's supposed to look like one of those LED billboards.
