It's been a long time since the last one, hasn't it? New update for the Nintendo 3DS now available, brings the Firmware to Ver. 11.3.0-36.

Not sure what it does just yet, since official patch notes are not available as of writing. However, I think it's safe to assume horse-related jokes are welcome.

Yeah, don't pretend to be surprised

No idea what it does for... unofficial features, but no doubt some people are already digging through the update files as we speak.

Been a long while. Wonder if they did anything to counter permahacks or if it's just a patch for soundhax and the like.

Agreed. If anyone's thinking of hacking their 3DS, stay on 11.2.0 for now or else your chance for homebrew and CFW is shot.

I did this just to add the orchestral music in and got so confused about it I just gave up.

The music. I got the CFW going just fine. But then the guide I was using wasn't clear on where to find the orchestrated soundtrack or if it was actually included on the cart, and which files to rename/replace.

uhh, this hassle pops up when you least expect it to.

at least i hope the usual homebrew apps get updated in a timely fashion. now with all my units with cfw, it's more annoying waiting to update all of them.
