To note, there is some rumbling that suggests this isn't actually being made by Warner Montreal, but I'm not sure who else would be doing it.

Are there any notable independent developers with mystery projects right now?

Their previous projects include Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin's Creed I, Brotherhood, and IV, Halo 4, Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Army of Two 1 and 2, Battlefield 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, etc. etc.

Edit: The Superman line isn't there anymore.

It could be Rocksteady secret project in line with the release of Batman versus Superman but it could also be WB Montreal. I don't think WB has used anyone else for DC Games outside of Injustice.

Maybe they're expanding.
Could be possible that its Rocksteadys new game. If it is, it must be in super early.

Well, he wants/needs a new job and best way to do that is to hype up that he's worked on an as of yet unannounced major AAA game.

I still wish Avalanche Studios would take on a Superman game like the rumors a few years back.
