Could the world’s most famous tan guidette be ditching the orange-hued look? Judging from these before and after shots, Snooki is definitely getting more and more pale.

Snooks recently posted a photo of herself heading to a baby shower (right) and we couldn’t help but notice that her skin looks dramatically paler than her usual shade of burnt sienna (left).

Pregnancy has had a profound change on the Jersey Shore star, forcing her to ditch her party lifestyle and start to lead a more adult life. And maybe Snooki’s new life includes ditching the fake bake spray tans she and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast so enthusiastically partake in.

According to pregnancy blog The Bump, most spray tan and self-tanners contain dihydroxyacetone (or DHA) which may or may not harm the fetus. Most doctors recommend that pregnant women avoid spray tanning and self-tanners all together. Since we know that Snooki is taking her pregnancy very seriously, we applaud her for choosing to embrace a guidette’s worst nightmare (that is: go pale) for the safety of her baby.

Then again, we don’t know for sure if Snooki is temporarily ditching the self-tanner. Maybe she is just looking more pale because it is winter? Or maybe the camera’s flash washed her out? Either way, we hope that the reality star considers ditching self-tanners (even her own successful brand of self-tanner) in the interest of her baby. Nothing wrong with losing a little bit of your tan girl-ness, Snooki! Besides, we fully expect her to be dipped in bright orange fake bake once she gives birth.

I ain't even gonna give her shit - good on her for this (admittedly small) showing of responsibility. If she can live straight for nine months, knowing who she is, she'll earn a bit of respect from me (for what that's worth).

Edit: That said, I see no point in congratulating someone for something they're supposed to do to begin with. Where's my "I've never eaten a baby" award?

I really don't get the Snooki hate. I don't like the tan and makeup, but she is far from ugly. She is also one of the least annoying people on that show.

woah, just because Tila Tequila was on injured reserve doesn't mean we picked up Snooki off of waivers.

shes so much better looking without the overdone tan and makeup. I would watch a grownup snooki w/baby reality show not that their should be any shows with babies in them, but you know its coming.

If they can make an entire show off Paul D's DJ "career" they can make a show off snooki's baby adventure.

This is bannable now? That's a shame. I was never a fan of people going into a thread and posting "who cares" but the gif was funny.
I agree with the mods on this, what if you open a just announced Halo 4, Uncharted 3 thread and within the first 10 posts are three of Harrison ford? not a great way to start a thread.

Thread shitting is bannable, yes.

No shit? I was wondering why the three people that either posted the gif or quoted/agreed with it were banned. That said, the fact that this is notable is rather sad. Clearly we give a shit though, so the Mr. Ford gif is a bit pointless.

It's been bannable for a while.

Innapropriate Posts & Banned Memes

- Thread Whining / Respect to Others. It's not that "Haters gonna hate" is a banned meme, it's that it's often used to be flippant and dismissive to other posters. If someone is trying to explain what they think about something, either treat them with respect or don't reply at all. So when you post "u mad", "deal with it", "haters gonna hate", "the GAF hivemind", "the usual suspects", "but GAF said x and now they're saying y!!!", "entitled whiners" or anything else that suggests that you don't care what other people think, you may be banned if it is taking away from discussion. This is getting to be a pretty big problem, and it's probably the single largest category of bans these days. If you don't want to discuss something, you don't need to post.

This also includes things like "weekend gaf", "sounds like a GameFAQs threads", "tl;dr", "cool story, bro", "Neat" and associated image macros, "who gives a shit", etc. This list is not exhaustive, and using variants of these statements such as "bold please" and "f*ck the haters" is not a good way to avoid getting banned, as the problem is the general message/intent of your post, not the specific words you are using. If you think a particular thread is lowering a quality of the forum, PM a moderator about it.

I always agree to the mods decisions!

Snooki is a celebrity, fake tans are part of the Jersey thing, so I don't see how this being notable is any sign of the coming failure of civilization. Plus, perhaps this story will be read by someone that wasn't aware that there may be risks with fake tans and being pregnant.

I guess I'm the only one that likes here. I'll get off the tracks of the hate train. :(
