Just came from work and was informed of the awesome news!
When browsing the thread, I saw a lot of people wondering when an official NeoGAF clan/community would arise and who would make it.
Naturally everyone assumed it was Yoshi-chan since, yes, Yoshi is now officially fused with the game by a link to his neurosystem.
However, the venerable Yoshi-Chan is quite busy with the RoS OT and since I volunteered to help and was already discussing the possibility of a D3 clan a while ago, we decided that I would do the honours.
But the guild leader will probably still be Yoshi.

FOR US:
We had to set the clan to invite-only because we were one of the biggest and getting hammered with random invites. It won't show up on the clan search.
Look for the "GAF" public community instead and use the roster there to send a message to one of the officers if we're online. (Right click to send message)
I can click your name and invite you to the clan that way. The clan invite command line isn't working for me so this is a workaround for now. Ashodin's working through the names posted on the threads.
FOR EU:
You can still add your battletag and location here in this thread for the next 2 hours. When the patch is up, I will make the clan and community and you will have to do the same as for the US clan.
You will have to find the GAF community and message the officers for an invite ingame. This thread will not be checked anymore since we are going to be playing!
For those of you who want to read up on the workings and possibilities of clans in Diablo 3, this is the link to the official post.
In short:
They function a lot like guilds in MMORPGS. This means a lot of new ways of communication between members so you can easily pair up with other able-bodied demonslayers.

However, as Yoshi and I discussed, with a little creativity and imagination, this new feature just might be a way to lengthen the pleasure and playing time that we can all get from RoS. We were brainstorming for a bit and came up with these ideas:
- Treasure hunts
- All kinds of silly PvP
- Timed runs
- Leveling challenges
- Female barb love making
- ...
I'm sure, we can come with even more ideas along the way.
So don't hesitate and sign up! We've got 118 spots left!
