Barca's high possession tactics just aren't working without Xavi, Messi and Iniesta's distribution of the ball is usually skewed towards passing to Xavi whereas Xavi's distribution is spread much more evenly to other players. Barca aren't 'suffocating' the opposition today.

I was never certain about Ronaldo in his first 2 seasons. He was bloody infuriating.

Half a dozen stepovers to beat 1 defender then whip in a shite cross. This is what he did a lot of the time.

When Ronaldo cut out the excessive stepovers he became a much better player.
