Michelle Obama just gave an amazing speech on Trumps Crap

Great speech, but at this point who is listening to these speeches besides those who are already voting for Clinton?

Someone, somewhere, and that's what counts.

Besides, she entrusts a lot of that TO her supporters, to roll up their sleeves and help change hearts and minds long after she's done talking.

Really enjoyed listening and watching her deliver that speech. Without exaggeration she is a really inspiring and rare individual and we're all lucky to have her as a role model.

Yeah, she's the GOAT

She's already giving Melania's

Chills.
"Strong men... Don't need to put down woman. Someone who is truely strong lifts others up."

Reminds me of Hopsin :
"A real ***** don’t brag about being real, as long as he knows it.
And his future doesn’t seem hopeless.
A real ***** stays out of jail, handles shit and he keeps focused."

If only Hillary could sell herself half as well as Michelle does. She's a natural.

The Obamas are quite possibly the two most charismatic people in modern history.

That was actually my college she was speaking at. Kicking myself for not going but seats filled up quick and students got first dibs, I graduated last year.

Great speech though.

I don't want Michelle Obama to run for president, even though I like her. Enough of political dynasties, we are a nation of over 300 million people.

Politics is about brand recognition and an ability to win.
I want a candidate who can win, push progressive policy, and do it with class.

Michelle would be a pretty solid president.

I heard this speech live while working at home, and after hearing the first 30 seconds I looked up, stopped typing and just was kind of moved by the whole thing. It was extremely powerful and you could tell every word came from the heart. It was beyond politics and was about calling bullshit on Trump and the "normalcy" of sexual assault.

Trump should be scared of this speech. Michelle Obama was waving the flag for women to stand up against this and she may have sparked a massive voting bloc of women to show up on Election Day with the goal of taking down Trump.

I like Michelle Obama, but talks of her running are, honestly, fairly foolish. She has absolutely no experience outside potentially soaking up what's happened during her husband's tenure, and even then, that's a shitshot. It's honestly a rather dangerous mentality to have that, good speaker = great candidate. It's really that line of thinking that gets shysters and con men like Trump to the show.

She can follow the HRC route, get experience in the Senate. It helps that she's actually likeable and has some charisma as well.

Michelle is incredibly qualified, educate yourself please.

I really liked the Obama's dunno why some people dislike him but in my opinion he and his wife did a great job and i'm not even from America.

Sadly the 2 elected now have their own big negatives. So it's like choosing the lesser evil in a kind of way.

No, she isn't. As I said, I like Michelle Obama, but she is not qualified to run for office of President. I mean, yes, she may make a good President, but it's a shitshot. She could have spent the years studying how everything works, soaking up her husband's tenure, etc., but nothing is going to replace hands-on experience in the mud, and what that position truly entails. Being a great speaker doesn't void any of that.

100% I'd be behind that.

No, it's not

Seeing how most people treat Hillary in this election, I would prefer Michelle steer clear of politics when the Obamas leave the White House.

This is exactly why I would like Michelle to stay away from politics...Hillary is not any sort of evil.

Even her tenure as First Lady, Hillary was always a policy wonk and served as Bill's confidant during his presidency. Especially when she took charge helping to make that large-ass pollicy of Universal Health care--which did fail but showed her strong wonkiness as a politician.

Unlike Hillary however, Michelle hates politics and I think she isn't willing to make self-sacrifices of her beliefs to get there.

I'd vote for Michelle in a heartbeat. She's an incredibly powerful, intelligent, classy woman. The Obama's are just damn classy people in general.

Really good speech by Michelle. I think she'd need to get a lot of experience in politics before attempting to run for President, but she has the temperament and grace to be President should it be one of her aspirations. Let her do some work in politics for a decade, then come back firing on all cylinders.

I have a strong feeling she won't be running for president anytime soon if ever. I would like to see her get involved in politics though, you know when she feels like she is ready, maybe after her kids are long gone having careers of their own or whatever. Just because I'm sure she feels like the presidency took a lot of her time away from them already. She could do a lot of good.

appoint her to something related to education. obamas said they are staying in washington until their youngest daughter graduates

Started watching this now. "Our leaders should have basic standards of human decency."

I mean. We really should, and it's so fucking absurd that we're here.

I honestly don't think she really has any ambitions for Presidency. I think she'll stick around and be an advocate for various things, but I don't think she has any desire to be President. Although, man, the first Black Female President will be quite an historic event.

This whole Trump fallout made me realize that this may have been the straw that broke the camel's back, not just for the Trump campaign but for women's dignity and personal rights in the country in a way that transcends partisan politics and typical feminism activism.

Women really will be the wild card in this election, surprisingly enough, with a woman actually as one of the major party nominees.

I'm really interested in seeing what Michelle and Barack do after they leave the White House. They are great public speakers.

Michelle Obama is an outstanding speaker. It's hard to believe someone could hear her words and reject her message unless they're steeped in hatred and contempt for women or the Left. And even still, for nothing in her speech to resonate with you, through the political differences... I would be disturbed to know that kind of person.

This really is about basic human decency and the social landscape of the next generation. We're lucky to have such a powerful voice calling out the intolerable and advocating for humanity and respect in a time when a predatory con-man has built a wildly popular presidential campaign out of gleeful bullying and shameless bigotry.

I'd vote for Michelle in a heartbeat. She's an incredibly powerful, intelligent, classy woman. The Obama's are just damn classy people in general.

Hear hear!
