PAL Charts - Week 6, 2014

MLB seems like it's launching April, this time instead of March.

Planetside 2 is also somewhere between April and June, unless it gets delayed again.

Q2 is actually looking to be pretty damn good of a quarter.

PS4 supply still look pretty weak.. and with Japan launch drawing, i wander what is the ratio of units going in each territory,

obviously New Zealand will be getting the largest share..

Wow PS4 still leading the 3rd party sales and quite handily in the UK as well. Imagine publishers are taking note of that

PS4 supply still look pretty weak.. and with Japan launch drawing, i wander what is the ratio of units going in each territory,

Yeah find it surprising that it still seems to be inconsistent to buy online

obviously New Zealand will be getting the largest share..

WiiU and Vita no games in top 100 although since platforms arent listed it is possible the lbp version in at number 88 is the vita version.

I would be willing to bet 99% of sims 3 main game sales would be for the PC in at no 29 but there are other versions out there so the xpac is the highest pc exclusive

Sorry I haven't posted UK sales figures lately. No platform data yet. Next week is the last possible week that it could happen.

Did anyone ever see a posting of January 2014 Retail UK Top 50 All-Platforms? I haven't seen it in MCV UK, and I wondered if I just missed it...

UK Retail Software
Week Ending 8 February 2014
Revenue: ÂŁ9.3 million
Units: 350,501

YTD Revenue: ÂŁ78.5 million (+16.7%)
YTD Units: 2.96 million (-0.4%)

In those YTD figures you can see what appears to be a big shift from older, cheaper platforms last year to newer, more expensive platforms this year. Fewer units, but the units that are being sold have a higher ASP. Kind of neat, if that's really what's going on underneath.

Given that the revenue has been in significant decline for some time in the UK, any growth is quite something. Next-gen will only continue to get stronger too, when the big releases eventually start to pour in. Then we'll see unit growth too. The last-gen console hardware market was majorly saturated.

i see GT6 having some legs.. TR:DE fell from 1st to 9th..

GT6 had a price cut to 39€. This is why it's back at the top.

And it's quite uncommon for Germany to get a price cut that early. I think Tomb Raider was after 5 month still at 49.-€.

Its fascinating how PS4 titles ranking on Amazon compared to XBO a fuckin landslide the only thing XBO has keeping up with PS4 numbers is Titanfall

AUS numbers are quite revealing: doesn't matter what territory it is, PS4 will outsell XBone once the supply is there.

Looking at the Titanfall amazon rankings in the US and UK, the XBone version is already in the top ten and the 360/PC version has yet to enter the top 100. There's no doubt which version will dominate the sales.

Well the other versions come out a week later so really not a fair comparison. ;)

Lol, casuals do not know the game exist, and casuals unusually do not preorder. The only people p reordering are the hard core xbox fans and those fans would p reorder the game for their new console. If the game turns out to be good and casuals find it interesting then 360>ONE.

I did a little analysis at the start of week and it showed that the ranking of Amazon does not correlate to ranking of the Chart track

here you can see
I just compared Chart Track Results with Amazon Results Posted HERE
and i found that they are totally in reverse especially for XBO.. Wander if Titan Fall really turns out to be that big as it is shown in Amazon
