If it's Good Feel, I'll get joy. I felt Wario Shake It was great playing, and Epic Yard played and felt incredibly well and was great fun. It was just tuned to be as incredibly easy for kid access. Really, of all the second-party-ish teams, I'd peg Good Feel as the best choice to do a Yoshi game right now.

That's why I continue to hope that, eventually, Good Feel will start tapping into their old Konami roots. I mean, we got at least one director there that worked on the Goemon series. They could probably bang out a decent platformer that's more than just a pretty face, if they were allowed to. And honestly, I think Yoshi deserves that much.

Wow, the Nintendo Network is down. Surely this is totally unusual and not at all like the entire back end of last month.

I wish that figurine was something genuinely new. A Nintendo Direct for a game we already know about when we're facing another potential drought bums me out. As it is, we're overdue for a bunch of so far inaccessible features, like a full rundown of TVii's operation and anything to do with NFC.

The main Miiverse home menu probably not, but Miiverse itself could be implemented I think. The 3DS already lets you boot the web browser while a game is suspended, and given the 3DS is indeed browser based all you'd need is an associated application that directs you straight to it. The 3DS also already has screen capture. Every time you hit home it snaps a screenshot of both screens.
